In my 2nd last shed of egg collecting (out of 8 sheds each containing 220 lil cluckers), I opened the nesting box - and saw a rat. Swore my head off at it, then laughed at myself for being scared of a lil rat

Last shed, I opened up the nesting box, and 2 rats jumped out - I promptly screamed my head off like a lil girl
How long does it take you to collect 1760 chickens' eggs? Forever?

Luckily we only get about 1100 to 1200 a day. One shed is babies, and the older hens don't lay as much.

I spend a couple of hours in the morning, to move the morning eggs out of the way (some lay in the morning, and some prefer laying later) and clean the previous days dirty eggs (about 180 eggs, up to 480 when they have wet and muddy feet )

Then it's a couple of hours to collect the total eggs for the day - pretty cruisy job - apart from the frickin rats ;)

Shape isn't my cup of tea but some will love it. Couple nice new menu features.

I agree with you. I keep looking at pics and videos trying to figure out that weird shape. I’m not running out to be one. That and the ugly Thor 2 have been .... ugly designs imo from Asmodus. Maybe they’re trying to push the envelope?!

Did you try using rubber gloves?
I love the gloves they sell for cleaning. It's the first thing that's worked for me.
Nice, but I also like it all put away, packed away and unseen. Do not need anymore STUFF exposed as I already feel like a madwomen when a delivery or repair person comes and I have mods and juice and syringes (for filling) lying about with dirty paper towels and wads of cotton and the occasional tweezer and mini screw driver. YES I do put this mass of stuff away, almost daily it seems, but before I know it it is all strewn all over general living places again and I do not even know how it happens.........
The nail polish containers are stackable. Or you can slide them in next to each other on their sides. Or you can do like I do and stick them on the bottom shelf of a frig, the shelf that you don't use for much else anyway.

It is official. I can no longer bake. I was put in charge of catering for a adult man birthday party. His fav cake is Red Velvet. I made one whole batch this morning and no sooner had it all in three 9" rounds and put it in the oven then I turned to see the eggs that were SUPPOSED to go in it still on the counter. OMG. Out of the oven and into the trash it all goes and then to wash all and start over again. Second cake is finally on its way into the oven and in horror I realize I put Olive Oil in it instead of vegetable oil. The Olive is always on the counter, the Veg in the cupboard below. So without thinking I grabbed the wrong one.
I was exhausted and in tears before it even came out of the oven. Old age maybe. I used to love to bake and was always good at it. I am blaming it on the totally cooks unfriendly kitchen in this rental house. Lots here to love but the kitchen is not one of the things. Almost no counter space. Need lots of counter space and room to express my creative cooking side. Not sure how it will taste but I know I was not going to make a third one.
Still loving my BB and almost nothing else except my mizer on my Hex which never gets put away.
One mistake maketh not a bad cook

It was evil gremlin day in the kitchen for me yesterday so it was, apparently, a nationwide event if it was happening over there in your kitchen too so I wouldn't worry about it.

I feel like they’re just trying to be innovative. There are going to be hits and misses when you color outside the lines. If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not making progress.

Morning shinies and I hope all your credit is ready for action...it's the weekend

@Fidola13 I find it difficult to like any of the design choices made by Asmodus...except some of the stabwoods.

They’re not for everyone. And they’re not generally something you see online and get dazzled by. They’re kind of simplistic. But in hand they’re my favorites. Just something about how they feel, how they vape. The ease of use endears them to me.

    afternoon all.
    i fear i have changed.
had a DB v3 in my cart at HG with money off and then a discount code applied which brought it down to under $55.
did i buy it? i did not.
i bought a rotary, rechargeable, electric razor on amazon instead. i haven't been cleanly shaved in nearly 10 years but current (positive) job prospects mean a change of role and a smidge of smartening up (trilbies will not feature however).
    i have changed.
i'll reboard the shiny train at some point but it'll be quite a few stations down the line so i'll meet you in the buffet car at a later date.

Got the barrel off the rda but broke my coilmaster in the process. It pulled the 510 connector out and left it attached to the rda. I was able to grip the connector with pliers and pull the cap off. Whew, maybe rda's/squonking isn't for me.
