Thank you. If I thought they were just too stupid to see that they’re inconveniencing me, I’d just say something. But they’ve already been asked.
If I went over there now - and I’m not afraid of confrontation- it would not go well. I would not be able to ask politely full well knowing they’re being jerks on purpose.
Still no sign of a cop.Looks like they’re packing up to leave. Gonna be a fun summer.
Oh sorry, I recommended RTA's and did not realize Fidola was looking for rda's
This is a small town, and the cops are generally responsive even to small stuff like this.Cops don't want to be bothered with this stuff, low on their priority list which is understandable. I had that issue in the past and what I did was talk with a tow company, you can get one of their signs and post it at your driveway. Let the jerks know if they block you, you will call the tow company because you have to have access for emergency reasons (your mom). The other thing you can do is pull up to their rig and hit the panic button until they move.
I know all about TOO MUCH STUFF from a lifetime of endless collections and hobbies. I've been sorting and tossing out stuff by the truck loads ever since the divorce in 2002... and still have TOO MUCH STUFF! It would probably be easier to just start over standing out on the desert in my birthday suit (no pockets).
This Tonka Truck rig can haul 170,000#'s. Makes me wonder if they have a fleet of them available for hire?

OK, OK... so it's not that bad now. But sometimes it feels like I have tossed that much out over the past 17 years.![]()
I downsized my stuff from my home in Dallas Georgia (2,600 sq feet) in July 2017 and took all that I valued of my stuff packed on a POD and went to living in my much smaller 1,100 feet Burbank California childhood home for almost two years, and leaving 50% of my stuff unpacked and in boxes in the garage. I lived with what I needed. I downsized again before leaving Burbank and got rid of much of the stuff I was hoarding in the garage there and not using. But I had actually bought two new beds and a chair (more stuff) while there. Then I loaded all that onto a trailer and brought all this stuff back to Georgia to a rental house and went through and got rid of about 30%. Nothing big. Just boxes and boxes of dinnerware, lamps, antiques, collections, pictures, you know STUFF. I am again just living with what I need. Still have boxes of stuff in the garage. I am leaving here in October and I plan to go through the boxes in the garage and get rid of a lot more of it. I am considering going to Prescott AZ in October and although I will l aways want a three bedroom, I plan to have just a few containers of extra STUFF. God willing.......
stuff gets to be an anchor rather than enjoyment. I am def trying to be more conscientious of buying stuff....
Do you have the Legend? Or the single-battery Aegis? I have the latter. It is certainly big but I find it quite comfortable to hold. I only use it when I'm taking a bath, though, so I'm not handling it much. I have zero doubt the Legend would be uncomfortable for me.I’m looking forward to to the Aegis Solo too I just wished it was a bigger battery but that’s not a big deal. And you’re so right about it being a beater! As a matter of fact if I buy the Solo I’ll probably sell the bigger one. I’ve only used it long enough to test it. It’s really kinda bulky and uncomfortable to use.
It's a lovely, sturdy mod that should last a long time. The menu is kind of tricky, though. And the stabs are way, way out of my league. What are your thoughts on the Dani Mini? I looked at them several months ago when @stols001 bought the regular one. They have stabwoods too. I’m sure you probably know that already lol! They are really sweet looking but the price- ouch. They’re not that sweet lol!!
I love the JAC. So much so that I bought three--luckily, before they changed the design to accommodate attys only up to 23mm. It is handsome, solid, and a pleasure to hold (its slimness in particular is a boon to an arthritic hand).I don’t know why but the Jac just never got my ejuice flowing. Weird really because they’re beautiful and well made too.
I'll be using an RDA, so I can squonk with it. It truly is gorgeous. As I said somewhere else, I'm not going to polish it. There's so much resin, more shine would make it way too gaudy for my tastes. I might oil the wood, though. The Pumper 18 you got is absolutely a beauty!! What are going to use on it? An RTA or RDA or both?
I started vaping with a cigalike in April of last year and graduated to mods last November. I don't even know how much I've bought since then. Need to do another inventory. I'll probably blush when I see how much I've acquired. You’ve bought a TON of gear! How long have you been vaping? Not that long right? What are your everyday out and about mods. Like I don’t take my stabbys out but the ones I mentioned previously or one of the Vaporesso mods. Never have any problem with them and I own 8 of them. Just very reliable for me.
I'm holding firm at one. Someone snapped up that blue guy, so he can't tempt me, the Celtic knot P3 is gone, and I can't talk myself into spending the money on the others.@Fidola13 @Zazie - You have both just given me several giggles while reading the last few pages here. Neither of you had any ProVaris yesterday, and now 1 of you has (1) 2.5 in Purple coming and is thinking about the P3 Diamond, and (did I read correctly)...the other has (1) 2.5, (1) 2.5 Mini in Satin Silver, and a P3 in Soft Touch Blue coming already?????![]()
You remove the cap from the silicone bottle to fill? I had a horrible time putting that thing back on; I'd rather never take it off again if I can avoid it.The first time or two, the bottle can be rather tough to remove. They do loosen up after that. Easy out, easy in. There’s very little to grab on the top of the bottle. I wish they had added some knurling there, and I’m thing about doing some texture somehow.
Because you have to pinch the bottle, a drop of juice will be in the RDA. And that’ll drip out when the bottle is pulled out. I’ve tried just vaping that, but it’s way too awkward for me to keep the bottle pinched and hit the fire button, so I just get the bottle out of the way quick and set the mod down upright. Then it drips on the counter.
Gets a little messy screwing the top back on too. I only fill to about 1/3 “ from the top. I wipe it down with a Clorox wipe, staying clear of the tube.
Then I turn it upside down and after it stops dripping - only a drop or two, give it a tiny squeeze and put it in the mod.
So it’s messy, but not catastrophically so.
And you could use one of those bottles that fill through the 510, and I have filled with a Unicorn bottle, but then the rda is sitting there sliming things up. And it takes a bit longer.
Still, they hold 7 mls it so, so it’s not like I have to fill it more than once a day. Not as easy as the genius Topside, but totally worth the effort.
I also enjoy, as others have said, the ease of dripping a different flavor when I like. No separate RDA or mod to round up, just grab a bottle and go to it. Mostly I do bakery, so they go together nicely, but a bit of fruit on top is refreshing too.
I don't even have a car, and I get furious when someone blocks my driveway. If those men were decent human beings, you wouldn't have had to call the cops. Now they will just have to reap what they sowed.Need to vent. There’s a mowing company that cuts the lot across the street from me. This is a narrow, unlined side street. My driveway is 140’ from the cross road, and the truck and trailer they use could easily park anywhere away from my driveway, but ever Week (or two or three, whenever they get around to mowing) they park exactly behind my driveway. Effectively making it impossible for me to get with car or truck out.
Back when my husband was alive, he’d tell me not to worry about it, they be gone soon, but when HE needed to get out, he just went over and asked the guy to move. After a little argument, they finally did
Now though, they think it’s hilarious that I’m ...... off about this.
So I just called the cops. If I thought I could just reason with these guys, I’d go over and talk nice. But I know better.
I hate that it has to be like this, but I’m sick of this. My mom is almost 90 and had Alzheimer’s. If she needs me, I need to roll. Now. Not in 45 min when they’re gone.
Am I being a jerk? What else can I do? I never get a warning that they’re coming, or I’d just park in my front yard until they’re done. But it’s still not okay to block my driveway.
I hope the cop gets here soon.
And just think--in cat heaven you won't have to feed them or clean their litter boxes. Or so I assume.lets hope because that might be the only thing I have done that gets me in that door to heaven~
Morning shinies
@Fidola13 poke your head into this thread - I got given some great restricted lung/mtl RDA options![]()

The few times I've left the house long enough to bother bringing a device with me, I've chosen the Kroma-A, in part because it seems pretty tough but mainly because I care about it the least (I only keep it in the active rotation because it has an internal battery, and I figure I better get the good of it while it lasts). When I get my Solo, though, I'll start using it for outings.
I'm holding firm at one. Someone snapped up that blue guy, so he can't tempt me, the Celtic knot P3 is gone, and I can't talk myself into spending the money on the others.
The batteries I ordered for the Provari on Saturday arrived today. That is crazy fast. Got a nifty little 18650-powered fan for free, too!
You remove the cap from the silicone bottle to fill? I had a horrible time putting that thing back on; I'd rather never take it off again if I can avoid it.
The whole process sounds rife with opportunities for mess, especially for someone with clumsy hands. I will be most interested to see how I cope.
I found it is quite liberating to lighten up the stuff I was keeping. At first it was hard "Oh I have been saving this collection of antique Zippo lighters forever how can I possibly part with them" But the bottom line for me was if I am not using it or displaying it then it is not doing any good in a box somewhere. Saving for what? My next of kin to come along and sell one day?I have 2 attics, half basement, a full garage and a shed, plus a 5 bedroom house. We purged a few years ago when we were going to move, so the attics at least are empty. But it’s taking me too long to deal with his stuff. My stuff is bad enough.
Although I have a rule now, if one comes in, one goes out. Whether it goes out in the trash, to donation, or yard sale, it goes. Plus every week I round up one extra bag of stuff I don’t need. It would still easily fill a semi though. Ugh.
