Hope everyone has had a good day. After the many other things I had on my agenda i've finally managed to put a build in my Haku Venna clone. I decided to go with a SS coil staggered fused clapton, 26g+32g x2 32g 5 wraps which came out at 0.25. It's a bit lower than I wanted and think i'll probably change if for my Ni80 flapton wire which will come out a lot higher.

I feel that rda's like these are best at 0.5 and higher especially when used on a single squonker. It's still not half bad you know :)

Running at 35 watts on the VT Inbox and a really good flavour. Smooth as silk too.

Good morning all! Scooter blew it's engine in my dreams, no worries, it has been replaced. I bought a way bigger one, VERY shiny. It's much roomier and real comfy, so hop on...it's RV sized. King size bed in the back for those party poopers who need a nap already. Let's roll. Don't forget your vapes, but please no clouds up front cause I've asked Fidola13 to drive and we all know how that turned out yesterday.

Gonna be a bit before I catch up here, ya all are miles ahead already. And I thought I got up early but NO someone, ahem, started at WHAT...5:33AM...that's prime sleeping real estate there!

@Opinionated well I fully expected you to hop on, you never need an invite! Hey, smart you are with the way you posted, ding ding, learned something new and I haven't even finished my 1st cup. Might need to stop and get STRONGer coffee. If I have to start getting up at 5:33AM just to get caught up I'd have to go to bed at 9ish something.

OP, I love Chris Rodrigues & the Spoon Lady "Angels In Heaven"! Thank you. I would buy their CD in a heartbeat if they have one. I have very eclectic tastes in music (and in life). I have now listened to that more than I care to say and cranked it. Cat even jumped on my lap to listen. Spoon Lady BRINGS the rhythm. Spoons...are NOT easy to do. What is that GOOP she used?

@NolaMel thank you for the info. You won a Creek, awesomeness! Yeah, I am thinking first stop today might be VapinArt for a Creek and I might take you up on the MTL kit. You rock!

@Fidola13 morning nutty, it's nuttier here! :w00t: You chillin' today? Mighty quiet...

@stols001 ya all don't give up yet, not even been a day!

@englishmick yes, you certainly do have a very talented wife. Better take great care of her. Ummm, and your talent is? ;)

@ChelsB ----- What's up? Did you make the butterscotch? And since I know, send a recipe my way, please.

@Letitia bring the opossum, animals are always welcome

@Eskie as Fidola13 says, patience grasshopper, patience

@DeloresRose what, Y3K? There's old and then there's REALLY old. Thinking I'll be way beyond dust by then. Let's think about this, many of us are boomers, gen x, something I can't remember, millennials, have no clue what comes after...head hurts already. But we could ask the the Sherpa guide and the guru for help!

@Tralfaz I know you posted Bonza but my noggin' registered Bonanza, ya know Ponderosa ranch.

If you weren't mentioned, I'm sorry, wasn't intentional and don't x me! Ok, hang on...JCinFLA, Zazie, Heartsdelight, Eskie, Vape Muppet...screw it, go big or go home ---> @ everyone, you're all invited!

Rumor has it Opinionated is cooking and I can't wait cause I am hungry.

I better stop here or you'll all get annoyed w/me.

Her name is Abby and to my knowledge they don't have any recorded music outside of those few YouTube videos.

She picked up (found them or were given them) the spoons when she was homeless and learned how to play.. (self taught)

Abby the Spoon Lady – Abby the Spoon Lady

She has a radio show and you can see where she will play next etc. as well as give online tips through PayPal if you like..

And your right.. I am cooking.. :)

That lady is a magician with the spoons. Not only that, her musical rhythm is impeccable.

Hello shiny fans. Hopefully like me you're having a relaxing Sunday. :) Had rain showers this morning but now just overcast and windy. Sun keeps trying to break through.

Could someone please have look at the attached pic of Fasttech tracking and make any kind of sense of it? Because the way it reads to me is that the order never left China and spent 14 days being sent to the wrong place before being returned. I think its time to get in touch with support and have a Muppet rant on them.
That was refused by the carrier and is on it's way back to Fasttech. Any batteries or internal battery mods in that order?

Open a ticket with Fasttech CS.

I've been eyeing the Reaper v3 but wanting the 2.7mm af hole. The listing says mtl but some have gotten the dl, are they actually the same and you have to purchase the mtl restrictor do you know?

You just need some fine Naugahyde panels for that now. ;)

Funnily enough @AngeNZ was asking me about it so I sent her a load of info on the authentic earlier. The clone on FT is the DTL version but it's really more restricted DTL from what I read. I have the MTL authentic but I ordered the clone because I wanted to compare them. Sadly that is the FT order that has gone walkabout.

The MTL reducer that I don't believe you get with the clone is here, but for some annoying reason it's been discontinued:

I have no use for the reducer is why I was hesitant to order, I'm firmly in the rl/dl camp. Thank you, I'll likely jump on the v3 now. IIRC I also found a glass tank offered for it as well.

Music Sunday, love it!

Self taught IMO opinion is the only way...I'm self taught on guitar (elec/acous), el. bass, keyboards, Native American flute (western tuning) and mainly self taught on saxophones (tenor, alto + sop) although I did study classical with a symphony guy here for many years which really helped with the feel and dynamics. Played in a bunch of bands around here and all kinds of music (never did weddings). Eclectic.

Self taught brings the FEEL and music minus feel is, ummm not music to me. If ain't got heart it ain't bleeding...if it ain't bleeding it ain't feelin'. For me music must bring the feel + fit.

Here is what I was listening to this morning until you turned me on to Spoon Lady. I had the CD cranking and yes the house was vibrating! A 1600 watt PA system tends to do that, brings feel too.

And yeah, give me woods versus city 99.99% of the time! But SMT, you live in the city, I know.

You're welcome. :) I remembered reading you were in that camp so the MTL version would never suit you. It gets too restrictive for me on anything other than the largest two air holes. I saw the glass tanks but I am often hesitant whether glass will arrive safely, just a pity they don't do the steel 3ml tank section too.

Just checked the FT page again. From the images the deck air hole looks bigger and the AFC ring has much larger holes.

Here's a pic of my authentic MTL parts:

My juices demand glass. Some ss tanks will get discolored with a strong citrus.

Speaking of panels, I took a shot at getting a few sets of G10 panels from Fasttech for my Vandyvape Pulse 80's. They seem to be gone everywhere and FT showed them as "shipping in 7 days" which normally means never/discontinued. I got a shipping notice yesterday! No holiday discount but just happy to know they're actually going to be in my mail sometime in the next couple weeks!

Honestly...if I wasn't retired, with no debt, and no husband or kids to help spend my money...I definitely wouldn't buy as much as I do. I also figure though...at my age, and after finally being able to quit smoking after 42+ years...I'm going to "go for it" if I want something within reason for myself or others. Since I look for the best prices on "stuff", getting deals helps a bunch, too. :)

Here's my 2 absolute favorite ProVari in my collection. Won them in auctions that provape_parts had on eBay last year. They're one-of-a-kind in the world, since they're prototype colors/finishes that ProVape never got to put into production before they closed. He sold off about 16-17 different ones. I think some others were bought by ECF members, too.

It doesn't show well in the photos, but they're a metallic finish.

Really nice score JC, and in their factory boxes. :thumb:
Your post brings back memories of the days of yore (2013) when I had a hankering for some special ProVari's. I didn't buy these as an investment, or to use them. I just wanted them. Silly boy I guess in the sense that the ProVari's didn't work out for my vaping style at all so even those that were lightly used were not used much or for very long. All of the ProVari's I bought are 2.5's. The special ones include a 1 of 1 military coyote tan prototype in an earlier tube that was never put into production; a 1 of 3 Stealth (w/green LED's) and a limited Stealth Mini (w/standard blue LED's). The Stealth's have a tough special triple coat finish and a blackened screen to stealth vape in covert night ops, etc. They were only made for a one customer who resold them at a much higher price and used the profits to help first response, LE's and military folks suffering from PTSD, etc. As a veteran who lost friends in Vietnam, a couple who survived but had issues until they died in old age it was a worthy cause to me. Like with all the rest of the ProVari's I bought the Stealth's include both triple coated bottom caps to be more versatile in the batts they can use, and would have used some of the many black pyrex pro rings from Loki Labs I had stocked up on.

PVpt-lim.jpg

Like with all my other unused gear, the PV's and all their associated parts, mostly Euro toppers, accessories, etc are a reminder of my vaping history (that I will keep).

@Spydro ---> Thank You for your service.

My wife and I used to go to the VA hospital here weekly, with a dear friend who is pushing 94 and still an energizer bunny, "Rosie", she still volunteers there with the Red Cross. We would take our German shepherd and put him through his paces and the vets just loved him. Some of the vets who normally wouldn't open up totally opened up with the dog (you know what I say). We trained him as a therapy dog just for volunteering + helping out kids and more (I know I posted on this before but I don't remember what thread).
