I guess it’s just on the mini that has the gnarling on the body.

Yes perhaps although 440BB said it was on some others too...I know nothing about Provari's though...just always liked them from afar

I had to take one of my terrapins to the animal hospital this morning. She's been digging nests all over the place and has not laid anything. She's been very irritable and has been eating very little. So I took her in for x-rays and it was confirmed she has 6 eggs inside her. The x-rays showed some calcification which more the likely indicates they are not viable. She was in a lot of pain and by our estimates is about a month past due. So we made the hard decision to induce labor with Oxytocin. She has had her first rounds and still has not shown any indications of labor. If this doesn't work we will do a few more rounds and if that doesn't work the situation is pretty grim.

Reptiles don't handle anesthesia very well, it's basically hit or miss. Surgery will be our next option, no matter how low success will be. If I don't get these eggs out she will die from infection. I am watching her now on surveillance cameras. It looks like she is scoping a spot out as I type this.

You mix differently for Rtas and RBAs? I’m using 25pg/75vg in all of them except the Fanciers - although I haven’t used one of those in a while. I was going to ask what everybody is using in squonkers, but since this seems to be working I didn’t bother

I mix the same for all my RBAs. I mostly drip so I stick to max VG which works well even for the one drop in coil atty - Cascade Baby SE.

I’m so sorry to hear one of your terrapins is having a difficult labor. I hope that everything will be okay for her.

Smoant Gaia. I don't break it out often but like it for smallish rdas. Heavy for such a small dual 18650. Here's a pic of the interior battery door.

I really hope she gets induced by the drugs. As you say really bad news to have to operate. Everything crossed over here

Not all of my rtas do well with 90-95 vg so I add some peg400 to that base. Since I don’t drip much my lungs do okay with the high vg for short periods. If I get into dripping for more than a day or two I just add a bit of dw to the juice.
