Good morning shiners! Rainy and cool for day 2 here. Feels more like late April than mid June. I even turned AC off and opened the window, a rare event by this time of year (then again, I love AC so I'm not normal).
who doesn't love ac? and maybe dc too.

Evening shinies ;)

We gave my Dad the best send off ever today

I am a complete antisocial introvert type of person, who doesn't like big crowds or lots of people. Despite that ;) I stood up in front of 400 people and read out a long funny poem (I'm the comic relief in our family) that I'd written at 4am this morning. No fricking idea how I did it - but I did it ;)

As the unmarried big sister, I had the special job of getting Mum through the funeral, and through today (and through the next 30 years). She did amazing
Love and Hugs....God bless

These pictures could be better but this doesn’t make sense. In the top picture, you can see I adjusted the watts to 53 and the ohms are incorrect at .10. When I hit the fire button, it shows 5.28w, and the ohms are correct at .18.

I’ve seen watts jump on other mods - exus ark comes to mind- but not switch back and forth. It will not vape in TC though at any rate. Same for TCR. What am I missing?

Morning Shinies! Efun order has been assigned a tracking number. All these orders getting returned has me a bit nervous. It’s hard enough to wait the usual multiple weeks!

@AngeNZ , we never know how strong we are until we’re forced to step out of our comfort zone. You knocked it out of the ballpark, sweet girl ;). My prayers are with you and your family as you navigate this new normal.

I'm not a TC expert as i've only been playing with it for a while.

But first thing is the SS is notorious for the amount it changes as it gets hotter. So you can get different readings on your mod depending how hot the coil is when you look. That's why TC works so well with SS.

Another possibility is that there is something not making a good contact somewhere. So in the RDA check the coil and screws are tight. Check the contact with the 510...is it making good contact?

@TrollDragon is pretty good with this sort of thing...maybe he'll jump in here :)

Those of you that love the look of mechs but are paranoid of the safety aspect, uwell has you covered.
Unregulated tube, no adjustment but safety. Bottom mech style button, and one of them glows in the dark if held under a light.....
Anyway Mike vapes has been showing it on live shows and seems impressed. From what he has shown its 25mm and barely taller than a mech.
Thought I'd share it.

SOULKEEPER MOD
Thanks for sharing that. It does look very nice. Bookmarked.

I use my King v1 regularly, dripping now. Safety, yes 1000% always, never careless. Knowing and understanding your mech kit and how to properly use it. Also knowing + inspecting your batteries and keeping them in tip top shape. Maintenance etc. I've never had any issues.

I've been looking at the Colibri v6, with some interest, and it also has mosfet protections.

It’s reading .10 cool before the fire button, and .18 as soon as it’s fired. I’ve always used SS and never had that happen. It fires fine in power and on other mods.

I am gonna swap out the coils later anyway because I want to try something that will ramp up more quickly, hopefully.

Why would bad contact drop the watts though? Any guesses? I got nothing lol.

I'd pop it on a different mod and try to recreate the fluctuation. If it's still wonky, I'd re-tighten the coils and or swap them. Also double check the 510 pin.

Your cold resistance of the coil is not set properly, the mod is dropping to 5W as the TC is kicking in to throttle the power back. You will need to set the cold resistance of the coil (should be in the manual) and should probably lock it in as this is not a DNA board and I doubt it has any sort of refinement.

I am not familiar with any of the newer Dovpo products, they were horrible back in the day so that left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Something special hatched out this morning. A very lite colored morph with a bluish tint to the shell. I've already declined 3 offers for him/her.

Is there 2? In the pic looks like 2 shells. How can you tell if it’s a girl or a boy?

Thanks. I didn’t see it in the manual but I’ll look again. The menu doesn’t seem too complicated but I haven’t found a way to set resistance. And for the record, this one is a lot different from the single, just so everyone knows.
