@NolaMel I'm dripping Dis Won now .... and it is most excellent! Absolutely CAP van cus v1, no doubt. My custard recipe isn't too far off. Some tweaking and I'll be right in his ballpark. I'm using CAP v1 and FA custard premium plus some other goodies in my recipe. Haven't tried Nectarcus yet as I really wanted to know what he has going on with Dis Won first.

Side dish: Chefs Flavours has FA Custard Premium in-stock. You cannot buy it in the USA. It's my new favorite custard (not eggy) and I am not the first to say so.
CAP v1 + FA Cus Prem pairing = winner.
Also, you cannot get FA Custard Pi (yet another variant), FA Vanilla Custard or FA Vanilla Ice Cream in the USA. I got those with my Chefs Flavours order.

I’m pretty sure Nectarcus is built right off the original Dis Won recipe (his first commercial juice that I recall). Tell me if you taste a touch of strawberry in Nectarcus?? It’s a new juice this year, so updated flavors would apply. Dis Won has tasted the same for years. I got Reserve, which is a touch richer... was wondering if he put Custard Prem in it. Needless to say, I’ll wait for you to ferret it out

FA Vanilla Classic/Madagascar 3.5%
FA Vienna Cream 1%
INW Shisha Vanilla 0.9%
FLV Cream 0.3%

That is my vanilla/cream recipe. @ChelsB recently made the above and enjoys it.

For turning it into more of a custard centric vape I very recently added the following as starting points.

FA Custard Premium 0.5%
CAP Vanilla Custard v1 0.5%

Let it steep a good solid 3-4 weeks. Those flavors do take some time to gel. I am not done with it yet. Please bear in mind I am currently tweaking the custards and other flavors for better overall balance. It will change over time. PM coming your way.

Has anyone else been using the Recurve Dual? I’m so disappointed. I thought it would be like the original X 2 for flavor. But so far it’s not. I’ve tried different builds and coil position. Just not crazy about it.

Thanks for sharing that. I was thinking of buying one. I might just get another recurve now.

Some INW are but not all. Kinda like FA, most are good at 3% or below. The shisha vanilla for me is a decent middle of the road vanilla but gets a stale taste over 1%. My taste buds are weird when it comes to vanilla though so I tend to keep them all low.

Oh please don’t not buy it on my experience with it. Maybe with a different set up it would be better.

However, I did order another Recurve original because I just don’t see this one getting much use.

Exactly as Letitia said, some are and some aren't. Shisha vanilla truly is a nice middle of the road vanilla. And I tend to think of it as that classic vanilla flavor we Americans are most familiar with. For me with shisha vanilla anything over 1% starts tasting fake.

I enjoy vanillas from the mild to the darker more spicy ones like the Bourbon's. INW Vanilla Bourbon is a good example of a much more earthy and spicier vanilla, bordering floral, where less than 1% works for me.

As Letitia mentioned 3% or lower with INW and FA is spot on.

They are indeed. No regrets. I am, however, regretting buying a Spruzza from Sourcemore. I could've bought it for a smidge less from Vaporrange and received it much sooner. Ahimè!

Looks like all colors right now anyway.

Just bought a very budget price squonk setup from FT

One of these:
Hussar V1 Styled RDA

And one of these:
Limelight Freehand Gloom Styled Squonk Mechanical Box Mod
The Gloom does have a MOSFET, but I'll be treating it like a mech.

Decided that I need to actually try squonking, before I buy more expensive squonk mods. Don't enjoy being sensible

Got the Hussar v1 RDA as I love their project x RTA so much. The decks are pretty similar:

Picked the Limelight Gloom mod as it's frickin gorgeous - and is compact
