Happy 4th all! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m sure it’s posted somewhere but I’m so behind I’m hoping someone will tell me if there’s a FT sale today?
Mama needs some more shinys, lol! Justified by either 4th sales or early self bday gift (self gifting is very important, I’ll have you know). Plus I have several items in my cart waiting for a sale!
ETA: I found it on the website:facepalm:

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted because I haven't found anything worth buying.

But, I just did place an order. Finally, after years of wanting one, I ordered a Raffmodz Ranger. I got it in blue like the one below. I was looking for a regulated non-squonking mod as i've been on an rta for a bit now.

Wasn't going to buy anything, but for $80 couldn't say no.

Internals look like this:

I'll post pictures when I get it.

Hope i'm not an embarrassment to this group but I can't think of anything to buy. Worst of all, that's just not me. I used to keep FT in business, so much so that the lovely wise wifey put me on a budget. Maybe i'm just getting old...or boring...or maybe wise. YES, i'll go with wise.
I did get the Pasito, the RBA and some coils for it, but that was like in the beginning of the month...like 5 days ago. Hate it when that happens...
Ah well maybe something will come up :D

I remember reading something about pouring it on a sugar cube... we tried it when someone brought it to my sister’s house, the same way we sample any new-to-us booze, straight, from a shot glass.

That earthquake is at the top of my news feed. Yikes.

There are different types of Absinthe (AB), and probably as many different names and ways as their are people who chase the Green Fairy to use them. A typical Val-de-Travers method... the AB glasses bulb is filled with AB, then iced spring water is dripped from an AB Fountain on sugar cubes placed on a slotted/ornate AB spoon on the rim of the AB glass. The water dissolves the sugar until the glass holds 3-5 times more water than AB.

It’s okay. Even I go through phases when I don’t really see anything I want. Sometimes it’s days at a time!

There’s much to be said for marriage, but being by myself I do have the benefit of not having anyone tell me how to spend my money. If there’s ever another Mr. Delores he’ll have to just be cool with my collections.

Me either. Too hot to order nic, nothing else has captured my fancy. Thought about the Gloom clone, but I have 3 mech squonks sitting in the stash already.

In contrast to the first 6 years vaping when most of my path was a progressive one with a hellofalotof buying, for the most part I am done with buying gear. I finally found the gear that does it best for me, already have way more of it than I could ever use in what's left of my lifetime. All aspects of my vaping and DIYing is as easy as it gets. So I don't care what the next newest/latest/greatest vaping thing is going to be.

I certainly agree that marriage has a lot of benefits. A very special lady and I shared almost 35 years together. We did not need permission from the other to buy or do what we needed or wanted. More important decisions that affected both of us was made together as equal partners with equal say though. There was never a cross word between us, but when the time came we agreed it was time to move on. She remarried about 9-10 years ago (I am happy for her). But I decided to never get married again, so I've been single for 17 years. That too has had lots of benefits.

That's exactly the way I feel about it. I have what I need. I seriously don't think i'll be getting a better vape (than I have now) from any new device out there... not at the moment in any case. My biggest problem...and always has been, is tobacco juice. I have soooo many but still looking for that perfect one...was so easy when I smoked.

Earthquake was in the Mojave desert. Near a small unknown town called Ridgecrest. If you traveled from LA to Vegas you know Ridgecrest as it is a place to get gas before you get too deep into the desert. In LA it felt like a 4.2 but it was a 6.5 (if you were in the desert nearby)
A 4.2 is nothing if you were int he Sylmar one in 1971 (I was) Burbank is only about 12-15 miles from Sylmar and I was only 10 or so. It changed how I felt about the safety of the world. Then there was the Northridge one in like 1994. Very scary, You have not lived until you have felt the ground under you, that you could always count on to be there, rolling and buckling under your feet. Give me the tornadoes of the midwest or the hurricanes of the south any day over earthquakes.

I was the opposite. My first several years, I had 3-4 vapes and spent next to nothing. I was off the smokes and that’s all I wanted.

Just lately, last year, I caught the bug and wanted to try new stuff.

And my husband and I never argued about money. But I know it’s common for couples to do so. We were married almost 32 years until he died of cancer in ‘15.

You twit, you don't need to get anything just to keep me happy ;)

I'm still waiting on the Surface to drop in price a bit and for reassurances that it doesn't suffer from the luxotic bf problem, so you are off the hook for that one :thumb:

    Agree 100% - I was near Christchurch during our 2010 & 2011 quakes

I've got the surface but its still in its box as I've had too many other toys to play with.

I'll report back when I do though :)

but as @Eskie said Indians get the least love

    .

Beautiful Triumph, a bit fuzzy so I can't see the model, is it a 5TA Speed Twin or a Trophy? I had a 5TA ... regret selling all of the bikes I owned decades ago!
