oh and...
when i hit 1 year without smoking (not a single cigarette/roll up) i 'rewarded' myself with an asmodus EOS.
yesterday i reached the rather lowly heights of 2 years without smoking.
the detonator is another wee gift to myself...along with all the other tat i've bought of late i guess.

What the bleating blue blazes is an eyelash comb :D

I'm thinking it's not something I will want to buy myself :pervy:
Some makeup contraption one of the Princesses left when they moved out . I’m more tomboy than diva, so I appropriated it for the vape drawer. It works quite nicely actually

Glad to hear you're not a diva :offtopic::pervy::pervy:

I suppose I could build and wick without juicing anything up. The wicks would need fine-tuning when the time came to use the tank, of course. But I know I'm going to want to try them out right away, for now, anyway. It might be a little nuts here for a while.

I test everything when I get it, even if I already have one or more.

It’s easy to clean and put fresh cotton in them so I have bunches to use throughout the week.

When I used sub ohms I’d leave the coil in it till it died. Not being cheap, just lazy. Now I won’t settle for fading flavor when I can have a fresh coil anytime I want.

I probably SHOULD watch, but I continue on willy nilly with my method, which so far has worked. Put as much rayon (twisted at the end to persuade it to go in) as will fit without yanking the coil all wonky. A dental pick gifted to me by my lovely dentist helps on stubborn wicks. Trim, comb out the tails using a metal eyelash comb, then even out the ends again with scissors. Combing seems to thin it out enough, straighten the fibers and get rid of the sheddy bits. Super technical,I know ;)

All I do is cut them with some thin pointy scissors to the size I want. I do it dry, put the chimney on, then drip juice over them. Seemed like if I wet them earlier than that they stuck to the side of the deck and ended up thin and compressed.

I did try combing them once but it didn't work too well. Seemed to pull long strands all the way through the coil and mess the wick up. I use rayon though, maybe cotton is different.

Our WiFi has been absolutely crap for the last week. My sis got hold of the provider and they sent out a technician who found no line faults (it's ADSL), and then a new modem.

I installed the new modem, and it was still crap and dropping all the time ;) Then I went on a hunch, and changed the WiFi channel. Hey presto - no more dropping connections.

They day the WiFi went crap, we had a plumber and an electrician doing work above & below ground, installing a gas hot water system. And my sis got a new microwave.

Obviously one of those things was interfering, or the possum playing on the telephone line, finally jumped off ;)
I'm pretty sure it was your sisters new microwave. :D

Maybe make a aluminum foil hat for Luna.

Yes lately I always pre cut the cotton dry...wet it, and final cut it then. Makes it so much easier and more accurate.
This is useful. But I was wondering more if you never stuff cotton into the juice channels but instead always, regardless of the atomizer, just cut the wick so it touches the top of the channels and let capillary action take care of things.
You can get packs of wet n dry sandpaper from Amazon... 180 grit up to 6000 for a few dollars....
Already done!
It’s easy to . . . put fresh cotton in them.
I will be so happy when that's true for me. I'm getting there . .

It’s awesome... a tiny metal tooth comb. You couldn’t pay me to put by my eyeballs... it’s super pointy, like an evil cornea remover . Mine is black, and folds up for storage. Attached picture for the curious

Maybe I’m too rough with my rayon ... I hold the wick by the coil with a pair of dental forceps (they look like bent nose tweezers) so I don’t wonk up my coil and comb away. To me, it seems like rayon gets mashed together where I cut it, thus the combing to untangle it. Probably excessive, but I feel better that it’s not matted at the ends

After I cut Rayon I see the mashed ends also and just use a super skinny screwdriver to rake out whats matted then cut the fuzzys.

I bet a flea comb would work well, too. One of those, I have. As for the other, well, I've never been too troubled by snarls in my eyelashes.

Hello fellow shiny's! It's super late in coming but I did promise to post my opinions on the Frenzy mod. I haven't forgotten, I've just been feeling too lousy to post. I actually bought the mod for my husband to use. He exclusively uses the Dolphin mod and although he's happy, I thought it would be nice to give him a new mod since he's doing so well not smoking! So the Frenzy is a very small mod but has some nice heft/weight to it. It's also a very nice looking mod. He's only using the 0.7 ohm coil so we haven't tried the temp control features but we both really like the airflow adjustment and the in-hand feel of the mod. Not 5 minutes ago, I bought 6 boxes of 0.7 ohm Frenzy coils, so this ones a keeper. The only drawback is that it's only 2ml tank capacity but I suppose that is geared more towards those who vape salt nic at higher levels. He'll probably vape through the 2 mls in 1 day, but we'll see where he's at when he gets home this evening.
So this mod isn't my type of mod at all as I go through at least 6 mls a day, but he seems happy with it. sorry I don't have more details to offer. Next, I/he needs to try out the Orion Q mod I got on the classies here. Before I stock up on replacement pods for that guy, I need to be sure it'll be used with some type of regularity.
Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry to barge in, I feel like a sort of member here lately as I never know how I'll feel from day to day. :offtopic:Thought I'd be recovered by now but my hopes were obviously too high for my new medication. Hopefully by the second injection next week I'll start feeling better.
ETA: you need a needle to fill the Frenzy which is also a drawback for me but not enough of a drawback for me not to recommend it. I'm sure for some that's no biggie. For me, it just takes SO long to fill!
