They are sharp lookin' mods. Now you have me curious...please post a photo of this hair fork. I hope you can eat with it too. ;) I went with the sloooowest boat they had. Mine will be in the economy section minus several rows. I was too chicken to see the shipping with DHL. With my luck it was probably cheap...

rofl - I just posted a pic...look up :)

Speaking of......

Havent watched it yet but you brought up va....;)

I did watch that. 9 times. I know I want a Spade dna, probably the 21700. But I want the Club too but I can’t decide if that is really really interesting or a terrible idea lol. I would jump if it was a $50 terrible idea but I’m a little Leary at this price point.

Think you'll like it, working well for me with 20700 and 21700. It's not a heavy mod with either.

I don't even have any of the bigger batteries.
18650 is as big as I've got.

I wrote the guy I bought the Kayfun 4 from a nice little note asking if it's authentic, assuring him I wouldn't leave negative feedback if it turns out it's not. And I won't--it was my choice to take a chance on it. I wonder if he'll respond.

I also managed, with the help of a pair of pliers, to open up the airflow on the Kraken. Now I just have to study up on how to roll a mesh wick (I also need to find out if there's a way to oxidize the mesh absent a torch). I don't think I'll try using the steel cable that was also included in the package. From what I've read, most prefer mesh to it, so I figure why bother.

This is all terribly fascinating, isn't it? Sorry.
You can oxidize the Mesh using the Petar K method (video on YouTube). Basically you slowly insert the Mesh into the coil and pulse as you go, sliding the Mesh down a bit after each pulse. It takes time to do, half the fun of a genny is working out the hot spots.

EDIT: You must have read my mind. Thanks...
I chose the cheapest/slowest method, myself. I can wait. (I got a black one. The face on the titanium was too shocked; I don't need my mods to look aghast.)

You can use a Bic lighter to flame the mesh. Just watch your fingers (well, any way you do it).

There are also those mini torches you can get in head shops used for the free basing of something other than free base nic. Should do the trick as well if you don't want to get a regular torch at Home Depot. One plus for the real (albeit still small) torch is if you have a fireplace it'll get things lit up for you way faster than matches for newspaper alone.
Mini butane torch in kitchen shops too. I use one on creme brulee sugar topping and meringues

Vape mail today... an asMODus Ohmsmium 24 80w mod. It's built very solidly. The rubberized coating is very nice and feels great in hand. Vapes awesome too. ;)
