It seems Vandy Vape got the message and is coming out with a decent 22mm MTL rda (although, I haven't tried the Salix...). It has a reduced chamber and a much better AF insert system. I really did not like the af inserts on the V1. I think it's going to be quite top heavy, considering the thick metal and reduced chamber.
What I don't get, though, is that they didn't include a 0.8 and 1.2mm insert. Why, VV? WHY?!
Again, not really a looker, but at this point I'm just looking for taste, bottom af and functionality in an MTL rda.
TBH I'm not really into the looks of the Digiflavor Etna RDA either, but it's my favorite thus far.

indeed. i noticed that yesterday while checking the eternal tracking on mine. sure other places must still have them.
Yeah, I'll definitely give this one a try when it becomes available. I do like the original, and the Etna for 18mm RDAs. For 22mm, I like the Cthulhu 1928 RDA, and the Galaxies RDA.
Yes, it is normal for them. FWIW the first one I ordered took 8 days to get here. I don't think their tracking works very well or same as FT. Lately things just show up when tracking shows stuff is still over there.
FT has only been a little weird for me. Once that stuff hits the states, it is where it says it is, and I get updates if I remember to sign up for them. I’m not impatient for them, just curious because it’s my first order there
I just checked my first order for the rosefinch. Ordered on 7 July and received on 15 July. The 15th is when I mentioned/linked it here - also when I ordered my second one. Just looked at my second order and they show two tracking numbers (huh?), yup. I tried them at both USPS and at ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE TRACKING | 17TRACK and there is no info so I really don't know what is going on there. My order shows as complete and shipped. I sent them an email asking for info. IDK
Last Friday I received an order from FT even though it still said it was in processing over there that morning. Go figure.

Yep I ordered it like five minutes later. I do have a tracking number, at least, finally.
@Eskie so far the dragon is pretty meh. That’s a yes on the whistling too. I’ve never heard any atty do that before. A little whooshing, yes, actual whistling no.
I’ll try a different coil later. I somehow added an extra wrap and didn’t notice until I was done, so I figured what the heck and juiced it up. It’s reading .4. So maybe lower would be better. It’s a smallish deck so I’m not going any bigger.
And it’s not awful. It’s about like a wasp nano, but louder.
I received this from FT about one of my packages but to be fair that was to do with it including a kitchen torch/burner...

I have a tracking number for mine (though I don't know where to go to plug it in and see where the package is, so for all I know it's still sitting on a loading dock somewhere). Have you not received even that? Peculiar. You ordered the same day I did, I believe.

started talking to a guy at work today who i saw blowing big clouds over 2 years ago before i started vaping. hippy tech dude. we got on. we were talking about coils and he was just getting into mesh stock. never rebuilt, eh? he'd thought about it. i said I'll give you various spools of wire.
he was excited about that.
i may have gone further than that. build kit. armor pro mod. geek vape hybrid 2*700 mech. 4 spools of regular and clapton. 2 20700s.vapefly cotton. pre wound coilology thingummies. dead rabbit dual. all free.
no showing off. i just realised how much someone else would enjoy stuff i don't use.
full tuition will be given and links already sent. that's also why the armor pro is included. stabiliser wheels.
might suggest he doesn't walk around with an open laptop all the time though. not great for crossing roads.

@AngeNZ , I was going to get the Taifun (Typhoon) BTD clone until I read that both the authentic and clone 510 pins are too short. They won't make a connection on some mods. Also with the "half pipe" design (under coil) when you squonk it tends to easily shoot juice out of the air holes. I don't know what Taifun was thinking when they designed that.In the shiny category - I got a typhoon btd clone rda.
