Yes we only live in UK some of the time, it's gone to the dogs there.

Phoned UPS as they never communicate that there is a problem, you have to interpret the tracking stock phrases then try to find the correct dept to call. UPS, like many big carriers, act as paid agents for the customs and excise authorities in many countries. Inevitably they try to show how efficient and effective they are in order to keep the contract by being nitpicking jobsworths!

Told UPS 1. It's a TPD compliant device marked "sample" that I have not paid for 2. it's for a review that I do for personal interest. They released it a few hours later, I still don't know who sent it and what it is.

If only those companies who send me samples would play ball though and label as above properly, I wouldn't get all the hassle. Going by comments here Chinese companies need to up their game with comms and dispatch fast.
Yep...I feel for you there. What I found strange was it getting flagged. I have Chinese parcels delivered all the time sometimes saying vape device and sometimes not......none of them ever are a problem.

Yeah, I’m not fond of Okra either. My sweet Chinese wife loves it though

One of my SIL is Chinese. I don’t think there’s a vegetable on the planet she can’t cook and eat. I wish they lived closer. I’d invite myself to dinner every night.

Okra's lovely in an indian side dish.....yummy :)
Never had Indian food. There are no restaurants here, really. In my driving range, there’s fast food and a Chinese place. A couple of chains, like Bob Evans, Applebee’s, Cracker Barrel. You either have to have really low culinary standards, or fend for yourself, or in my case both.

Nothing wrong with a few low culinary standards every so often......just not too often :D:pop:

I'm keeping the kid. He did all my dishes before 8 a.m. I made him I want to KEEP him. LOL.

I may have a slim chance. He asked me after Walmart, "So are all the women in this town this hot?" I explained that Douglas has a lot of cross border pollination resulting in a slightly Latina looking woman who doesn't need a lot of plastic surgery to not look like the Witch in Snow white once they hit 30 and their dispositions are better.

Now, I just need to find out the bar they hang out in and drop him there.

Sorry for all the racism I just want to keep my kid!

Plumbers (landlord says they are coming.... He thinks. IDK it's 8 am and the plumbers are not here yet, I hope they don't show up (I guess they could legit say it's too wet to dig but I can't do much without knowing a) if they are coming and b) if they want IN the house.

I am not leaving if they do because they stole my vat of 500 bar mops last time TOO. I will be following them everywhere and this may mean plumbers .... will be seen. With this lot, I am none too happy about it. BUT, WHAT can you do? It takes a LONG time to amass that many bar mops.

Jerks.

(I include my landlord in this he is trying to ruin my life, I swear.

Anna
Order them a couple of these shirts, atleast you can have a chuckle while supervising.

Some pretties from my yard. Top is hardy hibiscus. That’s my small one, has been blooming for two weeks and still has dozens of buds the flowers are 7” across.

Sunflower sprouted from dropped bird seed. I don’t mind if the birds grow their own food rather than always mooch off me, lol.

Third one is a giant hardy hibiscus. It’s not very old - 2nd summer - and it’s not 3’ high yet. Should eventually go about 4-5’ tall. Flower is 7” across.

I had a giant that I lost last year. Fortunately I saved some seeds and sprouted one. I planted it last fall, and it’s just over 5’ high and has lots of buds, I’m very proud to say. I’ll post pictures when it blooms.
Beautiful. Both the hibiscus look way cool and sunflowers are just happy all the time.

Good Morning Shiny's. Absolutely beautiful Delores. I love the hibiscus. It amazes me that the Okra flowers in our garden are so similar.

When I was in St Thomas, the Iguanas loved to eat the hibiscus flowers

Very nice flowers and that purple iguana is totally AWESOME.

A rose from our garden... can't remember what kind it is but it sure is fragrant.

Very pretty, SMT! I do love roses. Planted a new hybrid tea called Life of the Party this year. I was not drawn to the yellow flowers at first, but the scent is outrageous. Like lemon cake. It bloomed twice so far, and is almost ready to go again. I’ll share pictures when it does.

I wish I would have written down the names of the flowers she planted. She would remind me all the time when I took photo's and got the names all messed up. I know the very basic ones but from there, lost. And trying to remember the names of the different roses, forget it, she had many AND knew the all the names. I am mostly, yep it's red or white or yellow/orange/red and smells nice. Clip one or two for the kitchen table and I'm set.

Now you'll be wanting a purple iguana to go with the purple Luna you crave.

Same way I feel when I poke around the garage. I know the common stuff, but there are all sorts of weird doo dads I have no idea what they are or what they do. I have no clue why he had that stuff. I mean, cotter pins as big around as my thumb, as long as my hand... why?

Size matters. Trust me, someday a particularly large cotter may wander into your garage, and you'll be glad you don't have to face it down with only a jar full of 5mm pins.

Because if he threw it away he would most certainly need it the next day. Us guys always prepare for what we don't need.:)

Happy Monday, shinies! Got some vape mail today. Mainly a bunch of juice but I got some Molicel P26As, too.

    hs1mZ7t.jpg

This stuff is just ridiculously good. In a Cosmo, it's life altering :D

    f0OvBGC.jpg

And yep, I'm totally sold on these Molicels. They kick just as hard as my Samsung 20S and are just as safe for low builds but have a little extra longevity. Definitely going to be my new battery of choice for my 18650 mechs :thumb:
