I just got a package from China. Nothing exciting, some spacing washers and those small cleaning brushes that were mentioned here recently.

The washers are OK. I mainly got them because tanks were making a connection when there was still a sizeable gap between the tank and the mod. I could screw them down tight but it seemed like that would be unnecessarily hard on the spring loaded 510 over time. I got them in 0.5mm and 1mm thickness. I ordered 22mm but the ones I got are 24mm. Doesn't matter on a wide mod like a Solo but they stick out on a Provari or a Pico. Too cheap to worry about but maybe I'll try again for 22mm next time I do a FT order. So far I haven't got into the habit of remembering they are there, so every time I take a tank off the washer goes flying.

The cleaning brushes are brilliant for cleaning coils. They are much stiffer than the dental brushes I've been using. And since they come in several sizes you can pick one that just fits in the coil. The coils came out clean and shiny like new, which I could never get using the dental brush. Next time I change a coil I'll try them for cleaning out air holes.

Despite the truly impressive enabling here, Ms. Brunhilde will remain on the back burner for now (in other words, till the MTL version is available at Fasttech's price). As for the Tripod and the Creek, they must wait until I decide I need a big treat, since for some reason I'm set on buying authentics.

Sorry to be a disappointment to you all.

Oh well, We tried our very best.
@AngeNZ has Really got me thinking about a Valkyrie MTL now:eek:

Nothing new in vape gear, nothing ordered nor anything on the wish list. So can only post examples of what has been my kind of shinies for well over a half century (Rhoplocerfera, Mac L's)... this group, neotropical Metalmark's (Riodinidae), especially those from the Amazon Basin. There is something over 1500 species cataloged (so far).

Ok. Been a while since I've posted here, but I just ordered a new mod, and RDA. It's not particularly shiny, per se, but it's shiny enough for me,

More details when it arrives, I'll post pics.

    Everything shines down here!

you're welcome to some of the current thunder stormage. no? aww
Had a rather intense pop up rain storm yesterday but it passed in minutes. That's pretty much normal for us this time of year, keeps the grass green which I'm grateful for. Haven't looked at today's forecast yet, don't want to interrupt the pleasantness.

    UK & much further East.
Strange day in Britland yesterday, there were storms, floods, lightning ( ... alright, the normal UK Summer) and an allegedly not weather connected total power outage for wide areas of UK in the early evening. Trains, planes, airports, hospitals and nearly 1 mill people lost their electricity supply.

Some poor souls were trapped for 6-9 hours on stationary rush hour trains, no food, water all gone, getting dark, no comms, toilets overflowing... and no vaping. One train took 13 hours for a 5 hour journey. Luckily I missed all that fun, one of the joys of semi-semi-retirement.

Such a thing on that scale has not happened here since the 1960s iirc. Now the usual "it wasn't our problem" begins.

Ordering plane tickets, candles, more beer and some kind of shiny before the apocalypse.
