Yeah, that's a sourcemore score. I worked on it for a while with those micro mesh pads and a beeswax and orange oil wax and conditioner. End result is a little more satin than high gloss, but I would have needed to start out with higher sandpaper to get a the teeny tiny cavities in the wood perfectly flat. Still happy with how I turned out. Still want one or two more wax polish shots at it.

I personally like the brushed stainless might be easier to find a matching rda for it.

My brass finch looks good with gold. But even gold is hard to find in RDAs.

I pulled up a side-by-side before and after photo's and the colors certainly "pop" more.
This certainly has me thinking of doing the same.

@TrollDragon, that's what I thought when I stumbled across them.
