A fabulous day and this is the shiny loot I drug home. The bill was only about $3,500 and the one on the left is mine and on the right is my daughters. We had a blast. There is nothing like shopping at LV as you get a private client clerk (nothing is on racks, it all behind the counter in boxes) I ordered ahead to make sure they had in stock what I wanted and had four purses delivered. So out come the boxes and you have a couple people waiting on you, bringing you water, pulling the bags out of the box, then out of the dust bag, then attaching the strap, then they hang it on your shoulder for you as they bring you mirrors....I have only had the luxury of doing this about every four years or so but it is always a grand time. This time I was able to share it with my daughter. Because you cannot stroll into an LV store carrying just any old bag, I took with me the LV Watercolore bag of 2008, a limited addition and rarely seen in the wild, picture below. This was from my shopping trip to LV in 2008. It was a fab day. Exhilarating.

Not a fan of carbon fiber or touch screen.

I don't like touch screens either.. To many reports of sluggishness. Carbon fibre I don't mind if it's a complete item but don't like it when it's a battery tube or something.

I dithered for the longest time between the red, purple and the one I ended up with. It looks good. Decent graining too. You're lucky. My white mosaic one is evidently lost in the ethers. Tracking number has been stuck on "parcel data received" since the first. Luckily I ordered a black mosaic one and it's tracking number at least shows it leaving Shenzhen processing center. Uggh. I hate ordering from China. It's always a nervous ordeal and that first Luna was my first time ordering from Sourcemore.

Don't worry sourcemore has always been very good on the shipping front for me... Only 9 days door to door.

I know they don't get a lot of love around here but I don't care. I love it. I want a dark purple atty to match it.

I like them but I would prefer the battery tube to be more neutral. Can you get it out easily?

I’d have gotten one but I was still too .... hurt over not getting the VI. And maybe the old touchscreens weren’t so hot, but all the newer ones that I’ve tried are perfect. If you could see how much trouble I have with any other touchscreen- I have to use a stylus for my tablets, it’s that bad with my cold hands - it amazes me I can work them at all.

Have you tried playing with the touch screen sensitivity?

They look great. My wife has several LVs....i never realised how important it is was to coordinate the right bag with the right colour clothes .....hence the dedicated handbag storage area
