If my memory is somehow still functional, didn't you(or someone did) polish up some resin to a nice gloss, but then covered it in a lacquer or something? Does it work to just polish it up without some sort of clear coat?

Somewhere in my crossed brain wires I recall something about Krazy Glue used for that. Not something I'd want to venture into as I have zero intention of having a squonk stuck to my hand until the grave, but something a far less capable person could use with a little bit more personal safety?
No.. Your remembering two separate processes. Resin polishes up to a mirror finish and will last for ever.

The superglue clear coat is usually used for stabwood as it both seals and protects the surface.... But it does also result in a mirror finish if you apply enough coats.... Good luck :)

Yeah, of the 4, I like the phobia the best. But I’m just getting into rda’s. Looks like it would be easy enough to build.
Rob.. I would say the rune. It's a nice rda. But having said that that if you go to online purchase you'll have more options..

What's your vaping style ?

Still remember when you found the DV rda, you were so excited!
Tried to order the famas' but pp gave me the no token found treatment.
Can't you pay with a credit card. That'll give you protection also won't it?

Standing by if you need it :)

December 2017 I started this thread because someone made me chuckle. Looking at the tags I gotta laugh at #bettingwontlastaday and #blamestols. I honestly expected this to drop like a stone like any other thread I created. Secretly I used to log in and expect to see it gone, dropped off the end of the page to be forgotten. Never underestimate the determination of consumerism. Bravo! (Seriously).

I disappeared for a bit, life and such. Found myself thinking about those that posted regularly. Kinda missed you guys a little. I'd pop in and lurk here and there, still getting notifications.

Jumping through the past 2 years has been interesting. It's nice that spending money, and others money at times, has drawn some folks together. Good folks here.

While my tastes in spending have moved on a bit, I may still stick around to push someone off the dreaded cliff of doubt. After all, I'm not going to get buyers remorse.

(interrupted by spam SSN call. Apparently my SSN has been marked as fraudulent. Hung up on me when I told him I was Fred Rogers.)

Anywhoo, I was just sitting here marveling at all you fine folks, how long this has been going on, and sadly a little pride. (Really lost my train of thought with that call.)

So, shine on you crazy little weirdos, love ya.
So you're the culprit... I've been looking for the person that's responsible for releaving me of all that cash :D

I've got 4 Luna's.. Yes you heard that right... 4 Lina's :D

I don't have a cc and don't want one, never did. Hopefully my bank has a one time use option. Thanks Charlie but I have people here who will use their card for me if needed.

You'd have less cash if Jay was still actively posting daily. ;)

Here's a pic of my latest acquisition. Won the auction at £71 but with postage that made it £86 so approx 90€

Well worth the month wait from CVapor  and it is so much smaller than I thought it would be. More comfy in the hand than my Gloom, hits & squonks perfectly
Yay!!! It made it! :banana::banana::banana:

Good morning shiners! Nothing arriving today, but I am planning another juice run. Another month of this and I'll be back to DIY, which isn't soon enough.

So got a response from Asmodus stating that as I bought it from a third party, if sourcemore doesn't help, I can send it to them and pay the postage both ways. Sourcemore came back with a response of
"Thank you for your feedback.
We will look into this and if there is any process we will get back to you
."

Whatever that means. In the meantime plenty of other mods going.

So I was only half crazy. That makes me feel better. I just might have at the RAM. I have multiple sandpaper grits already so I can start out with that and do the finish work with the micro mesh pads. OTOH the feel of the RAM in hand is pretty good as is, and I don't know what polishing will do to that. A decision to be made for another day.

Morning all!

I have no idea what’s coming in the mail, if anything. I’d need a spreadsheet to sort it all out.

I’m proud to say I threw out two huge bags of stuff from the garage. It’s so satisfying to hit my weekly bag limit. I never manage with just regular household trash.

I know, how do I cope with all the excitement of my rockstar lifestyle?

It's always best to try a small patch of sanding on somewhere unseen like the base of the mod to make sure all is well :)

Sounds like Asmodus may help if sourcemore don't. Glad its getting sorted. Good luck.

I like a warm vape, so I usually run at the highest wattage recommended, and close the airflow about half way down. I also discovered since switching to sub oHm a couple months ago, I like lots of flavor and lots of cloud:)

Yeah, I’m a little ocd/perfectionist when it comes to things I do. I love this thing. Warmth, taste, and cloud production are phenomenal. I was so happy when I switched to sub oHm a couple months ago with the taste, warmth, and vapor production, that I couldn’t imagine anything better. I’m old and don’t like change. I was wrong:) You fine shiny folk finally convinced me.
