I've decided either might be a crime against the pallet.
You don't know what you're missing. It's made locally, Jalapeno Cherry is great as is the raspberry.

Used to get a jar every now and than, or at Xmas. Guy is older and has sropped making it. This was my last jar.

That's a picture from last night. I have the Pulse 22 on it now with a parallel build, 5/4 wrap of 26ga SS316L on 3mm (0.17Ω) . It's working alright, a little cool side as the resistance rises and I am really not a fan of the Pulse 22. Going to try a 4/3 wrap of 26ga KA1 3 strand parallel on 3mm and see how that works out later on.

It's quite disenchanting to see single battery mechs out there running dual claptons builds. They hit the fire button and there is a sweet blast of angry vapor. I do realize that those are fully mechanical mods and the build is probably 0.08Ω pushing hard at the margin of safety...

Use Ni80 wire... might make a nice difference for you.. it's power mode only though.

Anybody else read all of MTVs posts in Bruce Willis's voice?
"Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs...."

Don't make fun of him please... this is rather behind his back and he's a nice person.. doesn't deserve to have people talking about him (laughing) behind his back.

It would be one thing if he was active in this thread... another because he's not.

Thanks a great big bunch, Randy. :censored: Where were you with this trick when I was debating buying the Daedalus? No, nope, not going to have regrets. I own it and will use it. The spool tamers, now that is a tip I can use, so I will thank you for that. ;)
You are very welcome. For me the Daedalus is hard to beat when it comes to making a large amount of single core wire but the spool tamers are easier and produce a better finished product on most everything else. Just remember that you don't want the tension too tight on the tamer. It will still work but I've found that it causes a lot more twists. Good luck!

Thanks, I do need to pick up some 26&24ga Ni80.

That wire heats up faster as well as cools faster.. so you might like it if your wanting those properties, plus it doesn't contain iron like Kanthal so it doesn't have the iron taste some people dislike about Kanthal.

Might serve you well... never know.
