Good afternoon Shiny's :D

Yesterday was a "pets into everything" kind of day. Dog caught a rabbit. I heard its squeal from inside and went out to get the rabbit away from her. It was a chore getting it away from her. I managed to tackle her and pry her mouth open to get the rabbit. She will get the nastiest farts for days if she eats one. Dog and I were a bloody mess. After we got back in the house I saw cat knocked over some bottles of DIY juice I just started making. Another mess. I had to give dog a bath to get the rabbit blood off of her (and me). But juice did get made and I wicked a bunch of atty's. Success, yay.

After all that all I could do was laugh and chill for the rest of the day/night.

I hope you have a great Sunday!!!

Morning all.

Mom seems to be settling in alright so far. It doesn’t hurt that the DCs offer her cookies frequently and they said if she wants ice cream, all she has to do is ask.

Ran into my nephew who vapes. I think I talked him into stocking up - he was unaware of the regulations coming up - but he doesn’t want to mix or build so I’m not sure how things will work out for him.

He’s cutting the nic down, at 6 mg/ml and ready to try 3, so I may be able to supply him for a while if need be.

Been too busy to shop, but I have a couple FT orders coming this week.

That’s great to hear that things seem to be going smoothly with your mom.

Good morning shinies, I got power. I am drinking 4 day old coffee. I was at least hoping it would be hot, but of course the timer got all messed up because of the power outage.

It might be BETTER cold. I got plans for today. A bunch. Mainly cleaning the kitchen and notes.

I am very happy I have power back. I don't even really like camping THAT much. It's okay... But you kind of plan for it

Anna

Oh no I’ve missed a few postings and didn’t see you still had no power!! How long was that for? I honestly don’t know how I would survive without power for very long. It would be easy to overrun a country by taking down their power grid.

Hi everyone. Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday. :) It's seriously hot here, almost unbearable. My Dad is still in hospital but improving, concentrating on physio at the moment and getting mobile. And in other good news I'm no longer single. :) Not bought any vape gear lately, very happy with my FEV's, Ataman's and GTR's. :D
I'm happy to hear your Dad is improving. Congrats on your new relationship too, awesome!!!

although I think this is the first time I've really understood what love truly is. :)
Even MORE awesome.

I laughed reading this as it is a typical day with furry friends - do you want to add some chickens into the mix? Carli would LOVE them

Yes, chickens please. Carli is fine around horses and cows. She's never been around chickens but I'm sure she would love chasing them and "trying" to herd 'em up. Probably the same with sheep.

It’s be easy to overrun a country by taking down their power grid.

LOL I totally agree with you, and I have to say if you want to know EXACTLY what it might be like, read the UNABRIDGED version of the Stand (Stephen King.) OMG it is one of his best books but his editors were like "NO. Too long!" and they cut all the best PARTS. Like, people who died horribly in horrific ways just because they were not good survivalists, or like, they just did something like accidentally lock themselves somewhere. I think some kid fell down a well, that was a GOOD read, (no Lassie, not in Stephen King books.) But, it's AWESOME.

I am not a good survivalist. I don't know how long it was out, like maybe 6--8 hours? At least, I fell asleep with it off, and I like, woke up and it was on and nothing went bad.

Course, I called the husband before it was dark and he gave me terse instructions on finding flashlights, how to charge my cell if necessary (the car--duh.) I was like, "I'm sure all this won't be necessary." He was like, "Honey I love you like a, well, husband and I also need to remind you that you have night blindness and it would be very bad if you took your meds all wrong. And I was like, "Hmmm." It wasn't so bad. I had a strangely unsatisfying dinner of like, junk food and went to bed. But, it was okay. However, if we buy land, we are also buying a GENERATOR. 15 minutes out of "already very rural" is pretty damn rural. We will have to equip, even though we will be on the grid.

Speaking of HORRIFIC it's almost clean in here. MAN can I get a lot done cleaning wise in just a few hours. I know all the "housekeeping tips and tricks" because I was one when the kid was little and I had to be efficient because he was with me. So, yes, I can turn AWFUL into "how lovely." I just gotta mop the floors..... But I needed a sanity break. I even polished our furniture with that wax stuff for my stabwood mod, it works great.

So, I'm not a good survivalist, but I am surrounded by them. Heck, my kid can drive here in 13 hours so like..... He's a great survivalist and the husband has literally been homeless in Appalachia and ran around like, catching his own food.

Seriously if the USA goes down, my biggest problem will be how to I handle the psychosis when I run out of meds. LOL although that might be the best time to BE psychotic, because I also get a little psychic (no lie) it's just picking up on very, very subtle things and etc., also seeing a person's entire ancestral line. Bit tiring to be honest.

Speaking of tiring no more typing I stopped to VAPE.

    Heh,.

Anna, do you use Dragon for posting here too?
I think THAT would be da bomb!!!

LOL. No. First, with dictation software, it's tied to the computer. So, I can't and it's not cheap. It would probably cost more than my computer that doesn't have enough memory to handle it probably.

Also, dictation software.... It's very utilitarian. You have to say out loud every single piece of punctuation and etc. I have to keep them separated. I do not want to wind up dropping the F bomb in one of my notes.
