You're still a youth Charlie. :headbang:You've still got plenty of time ahead of you to get old. ;) I sure wish we could find a way to meet up one day. I am sure we could be good friends.
Yes that's for sure but hey it's a long way to North Carolina :)

Everyone says that 54 is young but they just forget that they felt exactly the same.... I guess you realise you're old around now but then in a few years more you realise you're even more old... Everything's relative I guess.

Accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.... That's my motto whatever age you are.

Hope that life keeps treating you well my friend. Happy vaping too. My next review is the Aspire Odan tank which may be right up your street.... It's a biggy though 29.5 mm diameter at base so you need a fairly chunky mod to put it on :)

Hospital food, the original flavor ban...
Hey, the beef bouillon and Jello I got after my first shoulder surgery was DELICIOUS!

(I'm not kidding--it tasted great, especially that salty fake beef stock.)

I hear you! After a 24 hour fast, then surgery, the nurse snuck me in some watermelon jello after himself went to sleep. BESTEST jello ever! I’m not even a jello fan, but man it was delicious lol

The only really good thing I ever had in a hospital was, after surgery at the nicest area hospital, a nurse brought me a caramel macchiato and Pepperidge Farms cookies, the kind with the chocolate and hazelnuts. Mmm.

Well, la di da, ain't WE fancy.

My most recent hospital stay, back in 2007, I had to spend the night in the emergency room before surgery (to patch together--incompetently, it turned out--a finger almost severed when I was breaking up a dogfight). I was smoking at the time, and the nurses let me go outside for my cigarette fixes. It was a moonlit night in early September, and the small wooded area nearby smelled beautiful. Very pleasant.

Don't remember what they fed me, though.

    Good Morning Shiny People:p

    You slept in :p

Here's today's matchymatchy lineup - my Asmodians with Hussars on top ;)

The only differences I've found with the Pumper 18 compared to the Luna, are mainly due to the bottle.

    9670302-6.jpg

It of course, doesn't slurp back in any extra oversquonking. So it took a few goes to figure out how much to pump, and how often. Got that sorted now - also got used to pushing its lever, instead of squeezing. And it's easy to refill - pull out the metal bung, and fill 'er up.

As @Zazie has mentioned, the only concern is the pump mechanism, bottles cracking (they are PC) and a spare bottle set including the pump mechanism, is $20. A bit different in price to a Luna compatible bottle ;)

But despite that, I love it - as light as the Luna and an awesome lil squonk mod

Not anymore @charlie1465. Vaping gear and supplies are no longer on my shiny lists.

I did however buy what to me is a far more wanted and needed shiny today though, a Mara Stoneware Coffee Mug from Mexico that I really love the looks of. It is thick, weighs about a pound and a half and ought to keep the copious amount of coffee it will hold hot to the last drop. It was a necessary buy after not enjoying my brew with mere common large ceramic mugs after I dropped and broke my favorite coffee mug yesterday  that I bought in Hawaii years ago. That one was an old friend. So I had to buy this one to dry up the tears. The up side is I have a new friend to make, and it fits the southwest desert architecture and furnishings of my abode better than the windjammer marine theme of my homes back when I still lived a stones throw from an ocean beach.

A picture I have posted before of the old friend that is gone now that was a bit overwhelmed and out of place with the native pottery, baskets, Navajo rugs, beaded leather, sand paintings, and endless other native things that is the nik naks and backdrop here now.

What I am sure will become my new best friend with tribal fish skeletons... (it's due here early next week).

The Mara 'shiny' mug came today. It weighs just over 1.5#'s empty, is 3/8" thick, holds 16 ounces of coffee that it keeps steaming hot to the last drop. It's a heavy haul full of coffee, but it's perfect! :)

Mara the artist who designed/made them (she passed away in 2007, her husband and children continue her legacy).

I love the looks of the Pumper. Been thinking about snagging one.

AsMODus asked for ID to be considered for reviews, haven’t gotten around to sending that yet. But I did sell the Silverado to a friend of mine, going to transfer the title Saturday. So I got something done today.
