Wow, this kit is stellar for under 20 bucks. Definitely my best go kit yet. It's super light even with batteries and a tank on and if I drop it in the (choose your own water source - be creative :D), no big deal. Feels like aluminum or some other light metal. Nice, simple design with good functionality and plenty of power. I like the looks of the tank too, and the mesh coils put out some great flavor. This one's a winner.
what is this?

Here's my Pet Day contribution - this fat wee fella is Spike, he's got big - still drinks from a bottle though ;)

If you don't mind, what is that mod please. Thanks!:thumb:

Edit: Never mind. I see it above :)

To follow up ... I actually just went down and checked my mail and found this:

This was from a contest --- no tequila was consumed in the acquisition of this device (and that's probably for the best, really).
You're welcome to join us Wednesday if you need an excuse to acquire another. ;)

Good very late morning shinies :)

Thanks for all for the pups, lambs, cats and veterans doggies....cheered me up a lot.

My wife and I often talk about getting a dog but then we say oh you know they're a tie etc... But it would be lovely to have that head on your leg looking at you as if you're the best thing since sliced bread.

May everyone have a wonderful day and enjoy... You all seem to be in really good spirits

Finally touched base last night with my Provari guy. He sent me some end caps and ext tubes in September which then got blocked by Kentucky customs???? Anyway they're on the way again.

I'm going to to try and get at least one of my reviews done today.... 4 more to do after :)

Love and hugs

Most of the people my age that I know say the same thing. They’ve had dogs, lost their last one, and don’t want to be tied down.

And if you travel or like to go out a lot, that makes sense.

My dogs have kept me from doing a few trips, or having a couple nights out. But for me, those opportunities are few and far between. And this house would be unbearable without them.

I agree really....my wife's cousin has just lost her second golden retriever and she clearly is the same. Lives alone in rural France a long way from us and I think it's the dogs that keep her sane. Last weekend she drove 2 hours to see a litter of golden's/Lab's and I think she chose one and brought it back....they're a bit of a mixture but I think that she can't bear the thought of being alone in the house....

It was only two weeks since the loss....and well they make the best of companions don't they :)

Thanks again for the pics

When my husband was alive, he worked loads of hours. 80 a week if they’d let hm. Once the kids were grown and gone, I was alone more often than not. I’m good on my own, not terribly sociable, and the stuff I tend to like when I do go out is a little day trip close by, the marsh maybe, or to visit local family.

So pets fit into that lifestyle. Right before my husband got sick, I had 3 dogs and 3 birds. We lost one dog right before his diagnosis, one the Christmas after he died, then my parrot... literally half the household was gone.

Rudy was the only thing that got me out of bed every day. Not to be dramatic, but I don’t know if I’d be here if not for my sweet boy.

The time may come when I’m no longer able to care for pets, or I meet a nice wealthy guy who wants to take me traveling lol, but this lifestyle suits me now.

I got another Bunker yesterday from FT, I forget how many I have now, 7-8. Sure seems odd to only get one little thing, after buying all that Labor Day stuff. I’m waiting on a Solo, and just ordered some nic and flavors from Nic River, and some Boston bottles from Amazon, and some replacement glass for the Gears and a Kennedy vindicator Clone from FT. I had a gift certificate so that last order was almost free.

Good morning shiners! Charlie, you're feeling better today.

The Unicorn RDA should be here tomorrow. Had to rework my FT order because it was being held up by some battery insulators that I didn't need to begin with, so cancelled them out of the order. hopefully speed that up. I really want those extra 510 fill bottles. Oh, and ended up ordering some more batteries just because.

I have a couple unicorn RDAs and I like them, but I’m not getting the best performance. Let me know how you build it.

I got stuck on SS but I suspect Ni80 would be a better choice.

I understand why I’m going through a battery per hour with a dual coil on a tube mech mod, but I just can’t figure why I don’t get much longer with a single coil. I can go almost all day with one 18650 in a Luna with no appreciable fall off. I like the tube mods but it feels like all I do is swap batteries.

I'll let you know when I play with it a bit. That's weird you get a longer run time on the Luna than a tube. What tube mech is that happening on?

All of them. I’ve even swapped the squonk pin with a blind pin and put the exact atty/build from a Luna to any tube, 18650 or 21700, and I just can’t get any serious run time.

I have Rose finches, the Dreamer, MDX mods, Soulkeepers... none of them even come close to Lunas.

I don’t get it. I was just wondering if this was a quirk of tube mods.

This is weird. No two mechs are alike but so many running short?

It sounds like it comes down to voltage drop, the loss of voltage between the battery and the 510 connector. Every unregulated device has it, some more than others. Wasted voltage leading to shorter useful battery runtime. It may be a good idea to clean the contacts on those tube mods, even if new, to minimize it. Machine oil could be the culprit versus grime. Good luck!

Your Luna isn't regulated but it is chipped with safety features that limit the output to 80W. Your tubes are free to draw whatever power they need from the battery, so that's most likely what's contributing to the difference in longevity.
