I have these spools of Kanthal wire which I can't use. If anybody is interested, let me know

Actually, I should give more credit to the Gate: I wicked it right the first time with no leaks or other struggles. This sets it apart from several other attys I've tried. Could've been dumb luck, of course.
Very easy to coil and wick, good draw, smooth vape, good flavour.

I probably wasnt clear and understated my opinion when I said, "meh, its another mtl rta. There are so many good ones, this is one of them", I did actually mean it is one of the good ones.
I just think there are so many good ones out there that its more surprising to get one that is not very good, specially when you do simple low wattage round wire builds like I do..

If nobody else pops for it, I’ll be happy to take it off your hands :)
Sure. You want all or gertain gauges? Can't remember if you liked 24ga.It has pretty low resistance, 30 is really thin, good for making clapton wires, probably quite "fun" to build with.

Might as well stretch out from my 26/28 comfort zone. I do build dl/sub ohm coils for the boy when they’re in town visiting.

Remember, resting is a part of recovery just like PT and making sure you do your exercises. Listen to your body... sounds like it’s telling you to take the day off and do nada!

I think you’re right. I was looking at this situation like - the more I do and the harder I do it the better the results will be. I’m somewhat ignorant of broken bones. I’ve had A LOT of surgeries but never broke a bone before especially in a joint that takes a beating with half my weight.

I’ve done only the exercises
Every time I check AVS for flat wire they're always out of stock for .8mm x .2mm Where else should I look, Kaybee?

maybe try Lightening Vapes which has a decent variety especially on wire and pre made coils.

Cool. 24 isn't too low and Kanthal will have a bit higher resistance. You may end up using it for yourself. Maybe try some twisted wires with the 30 ga. hmmmm...

Anyone know anything about an Ephro
Cold Steel 100 watts? It a tube shaped device that has a similar appearance or shape as the Yihi SX Mini. And I really like it because of the shape and the ability to use three types of batteries.

I’m thinking of the black obsedian that would look awesome with several of my black RBAs.

I think @Letitia has one, @Fidola13

And, @Jebbn, I knew exactly what you meant. The Gate is a very nice RTA that does well what it's supposed to do, and I like it very much. We're just spoiled for choice. For now.

I did think it was particularly easy to coil and wick, and I really appreciated being able to take it apart easily, after some of the struggles I've had disassembling new attys for cleaning (I hope you're blushing right now, Project X and Exvape Expromizer).

@Letitia has at least a couple and i have the black one. can't really fault it. good hand feel, well made and simple menu structure. the fire button is a little eager on mine but not so as it's a problem. it has stayed in my rotation since i got it.

Your memory ain't playing tricks. A lot of ppl who aren't using the Riviera as a bf RDTA use Todd's mesh wicking option:

and in that method - no cotton wick goes near the holes

PS You get to blame all errors you make in the next 6 months on 'Chemo Brain ' after that it reverts back to 'Charlie's Brain' ;)

Hey thanks for letting me know I'm not going bonkers I know I'd read about it some where. Hey @Daniel Forsyth check it out.... Flavour is amazing apparently.

An Ange thanks for going to the trouble..... Hugs

What do you mean by that exactly?
Muth. It's the same deck as the Haku Venna turned into a bottom tank RDTA with a few other design features. Should give you the superb flavour of the Venna in an RDTA format.

Hope this helps :)

...and it doesn't have the dreaded buckle bulge under a silky blouse.

I don't wear silky blouses, but plastic buckle belts are a miracle too. Discovered them after my overloaded cargos fell down at the airport security scanner some years ago, "Sir, remove your belt and put your arms up please!", "But, but, but", "Sir please!" Ofc it was ...., .... ........

I've seen the stainless steel wicks before. Just another wick that you need to make up, not for me. I'd rather have a poke through the holes:D

Thanks! Got another Zeus too, since I was already shopping. I love this atty. not sure why I wasn’t impressed at first, but it’s really good now for whatever reason.
I love mine too. Sometimes it just fits the bill when everything else is too strong, or too airy or too something or other
