I’m in northern Indiana and 40* in the fall is jeans and a hoody, 40* in the winter or spring is shorts, flip flops, and a hoody lol!
I live in the midwest and bundle up to walk the furry kids at 40°. Just to and from the car usually just a heavy cardigan.
My nephew and his wife moved here from Florida last spring. He was just saying something about being ready for winter, because it snowed a couple times when they first got here. I’m not telling him. Let him find out firsthand. There’s a huge difference between when it gets down to 30 overnight a few times and we get a dusting, and when it’s been weeks since it’s gotten over 30 and you have to go out there and shovel. I think he’s had to scrape his car window twice, lol.
40°F for us desert rats is like 40 below. In 2 days it went from 75° at night to 34° last night. I hate winter.
We may get down to 25° tomorrow morning. If it does it would break a record from 1971! Yeah it went from a low of 50 to freeze warnings in 2 days. I can never remember it being this cold before Halloween. We get this cold every year but it is usually in January and people are acclimated by then. Gonna have to bundle the kid up this year for trick or treating.
I wouldn't be leaving the house with those temps! It gets down to 30 and have to force myself to go to work. Then after work I stock up on essentials to avoid going out again.

We're similar in the Cote d'Azur it's due to how dry it is.... Dry heat or humid heat are very different beasts. I hate winter too but when I lived in south west England it's was OK... You just got fed up with the rain.
So dry heat to dry cold with absolute stillness is a real pain in the a**

I'm better not speak to soon but signs are it may be better this time. They reduced my doses slightly because of last time's chest infection and anaemia...... Everything's crossed

I go to sleep & wake up according to my bio clock, the clocks in UK went back one hour last weekend, my bio clock will take a month to reset. So now I wake up at 0400 and want to sleep at 2000

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones, time change for me is temporary mild annoyance. Changing clocks twice a year and sunset times are what I could do without. Do wish they'd do one or the other, don't care which one they go with.
Got a couple recurves, all they had left were rainbow and gold, but I figured better ugly Recurves than none. The Pulse seems nicer than I expected. I got some 50 ml bottles also.

Got the SXK FLVR RDA built this morning - I'll do some pics later. Awesome intense flavour, airflow is a bit less restricted than the Venna rda. Doddle to build and wick - it's a keeper
