I'm sure there's more than one of us here that can identify in one way or another what you're going through.

Absolutely @Fidola13 - it took over 3 & a half months before I could walk without crutches after my broken ankle. Hang in there

    Gorgeous!!

Funny story, some years ago my dad had a pacemaker put in. He wasn't feeling well going into the procedure and we were worried about him. Afterwards, the family is in the hospital room with him and he asks everybody except for me to leave. I became nervous. He asked me to come sit beside him on the bed. I'm expecting him to share some really scary news...

"Son," he says, looking around to make sure nobody could hear him. "I'm getting a dog for your mother."

She was very sick/struggling with depression, and he thought it would cheer her up, nevermind the fact that she hated dogs. So a couple weeks later he brings home a newborn shihtzhu, holding her in the palm of his hand. The look on mom's face was priceless (anger). Anyway, as time went on mom grew to love the doggy, but the joke was always that she was "mom's dog" -- no no no, she was definitely "dad's dog."

To this day, they are inseparable. Mom passed over 5 years ago now, so dad and the pup live alone together. He has often told me he wouldn't be alive today if not for little Amber. I honestly fear the day Amber passes on. But it's so cute, their relationship. You mentioning how this doggy was for your daughter but became a source of happiness for your whole family made me remember that story.

"Man's best friend," they say. It couldn't be more true, IMHO.
    Great story

Good morning Shiny Vapors. I recieved some vape mail yesterday that I only ordered thinking it wouldn’t go thru but it did lol

so an Ephro Cold Steel something showed up. It’s cute. I like it takes bigger batteries.

Today’s my hip evaluation day at my surgeons. I have no idea what to expect other than having a few more X-rays. I honestly haven’t seen any major improvements and I’m sure as hell unable to walk on my own or even drive a car.
I’ll try not to be too much of a downer until the appointment. Wish me luck!!!

You vent if you need to, and don’t you worry about it. No need to be stoic here among friends.

I don’t put out food, because I don’t want them to feel like they can depend on me - other humans in my area are not kind, so it’s best if my wildlife doesn’t get accustomed to human interaction - but I do grow Johnny jump ups for them to eat, and there are wild violets under the Apple tree where I don’t mow. And I have a couple spots I can get away with not mowing, so they have some cover.

I hear you that makes sense. Not everyone is nice with animals. I got other people at my work looking out for Stevie as well and they know if they purposely tried to mess with her or another bunny they would have to deal with me.

That’s probably the most kind thing you can do in your situation :)

Couldn’t wait to get home to see my new topside. Does anyone know what the 3 slots are with the perforated silver metal behind them? Is this a spot that juice should not get into?

A drive by good night. Spent the day acting as general handyman and roadie for my daughter and I'm too old for this stuff. Show opens tomorrow and all looking good, so happy daughter makes for happy if achy dad.

Got my Molicels in today. Weird, put them in the charger, all at 3.5V (within 0.1V). Initial IR were 25-50 mOhm out of the box. After 15 minutes and getting to 3.7V they're all under 20 mOhm. No idea how useful it is to know that, and all I care about is they're charging quickly and they're cool. But I still like the charger even if that feature is tough to interpret. One thing it does provide is in addition to voltage of the cell, it gives the percentage charge and the total mAh charged into the battery. My 40T last evening was at 3.6V and got 2,600 mAh "infused". Unnecessary statistic, but still fun to know.
My Molicels are wonky. I bought them about 2 weeks ago. They charge quick but one of the sets has one battery that drains faster then the others

Does anyone know if there is some sort of trick to get the topside to squonk? I filled with juice just to where the bottle is still visible then screwed the cap back on. The squonk pin is in my dead rabbit but no juice is coming up when I squonk. I’m not sure I understand how it’s even supposed to since the rda isn’t even above the bottle.

    Couple things.
    The screen is ventilation.
You may have an early run with the bottle tube issue.
I would remove the rda and squeeze slightly, see if any juice comes to the 510.
If not you may need to get the allen wrench and take the top off if the bottle sled. When you take it off check the end of the tube. Some of the early run they cut it straight. If thats the case cut a slight angle on the tube. Those basically seal themselves to the bottom of the bottle.
Ill follow up in the am to see if that helped.

Also the tvc original youtube presentation video shows it torn all the way down if you want to see how it works.

And that's why we need @Mooch to do his tutorial on battery IR. :D

Thanks. It seems to be squonking better now so I’ll hold off cutting anything. I took it off and some juice did come out. Figured Mabye it just needed a few squeezes to get juice through the “straw”.

I like it. Heavy metal and easy to fill.

Oh I hear you, and you have all my sympathies  Don't like getting dressed up either ;) At Dad's funeral I would've been perfectly happy wearing his fave T-shirt & leggings:

Instead I wore a dress
Dinner was fine. I wore fishing....um, travel! pants with a snazzy top. When we had our second child get married (first eloped, smart girl) I had to buy a dress for the wedding because I owned exactly zero . Best part, they were from the UK, so no weird glances as we walked around as I vaped. They were befuddled/ aghast about what’s going on here vs vaping.

This needs to be checked and angled cut on any squonk tube for sure.

I’m just worried I’m gonna screw it up. It seems to be working fine now although it doesn’t squonk as much juice as my other ones have but that’s not too bad I mean it makes it harder to over squonk.

I’ll have to look up some videos on this mod when I have more time. I’m just getting back from the gym and am very tired. It’s 10 pmand I gotta be up at 5am tomorrow. It’s Friday tomorrow though:)

    Thanks for the suggestions

LOL when my daughter broke up with her boyfriend someone said to her the best way to get over it, is to get a puppy. She went to the SPCA and convinced me to get this one

Turned out to be the right thing. She changed not only her mood, but the whole household. She still lightens up everyone day... View attachment 850411 A real character. We laugh at her daily.
She takes her time standing dead still inside that bush for long times whenever she's out front. Some kind of self therapy I think...

Yeah me to. I'll much prefer the company of animals to people if I had the choice.
Possibly my favourite breed. They're so plucky. My wife and I talk a lot about getting a dog but stop short because of the commitment issues.

I would get a Jack Russell today if I could.... They're the best :)
