Hey, when she was young my daughter had a pet long eared dwarf rabbit. The “dwarf” weighed 20 pounds. She would walk it in a leash. The cage was so damn big it barely fit in an SUV. It had costumes for both Halloween and Christmas. It was a very patient rabbit.

Holy cow! 20 lb dwarf rabbit? The dwarf rabbits my brother and I had when we were kids were only 5 to 7 lbs.

And it wasn't fat. It was misrepresented by whoever she got the rabbit from (her mom oversaw that acquisition). It did have really long floppy ears so at least some of the genetics were right. The rest, who knows.

Do you have a military base near you? The USAF has been doing training maneuvers here over the Mississippi River this week.

Not really. I do hear jets, maybe once or twice a year. Makes me nervous ever since 9/11, because that was the first fly over I had here.

Good for you defend your rabbit. I better not be hearing any bad mouthing of rabbits around here ;)

Up here in Canada, on the east coast they sell rabbits in pairs for rabbit pie. I'm thinking a single 20 pounder would suffice. Note ** I've only ever eaten that pie once, now here's the funny part, when they were brought frozen in 2@1L cream containers in carry-on luggage from Nova Scotia. Pre 9/11.

I was referred to as bunny man yesterday when my boss wanted me to do something and I was cleaning the old hay out of Stevie’s house.

I’m not a religious person (atheist, tbh) but I have always loved this quote: How you receive the least among us is how you receive me.

People who are kind to those who are weakest are kind to everyone.

Ricky Vapes We've had rabbits in our backyard for over 24 years and we'd never harm them, even when they eat prune our phlox/flox. Last spring/summer we secretly fed a pregnant raccoon till she birthed 6 young ones. Once neighbors saw her and the young we'd sneak around the side to put out fresh water nightly :) Your rabbits would be safe with me/us. :)

Funny you should mention that. Before the rabbit, we had an elderly cat my wife had since college. Half Maine .... Cat, big sucker, and not quite right in the head after getting hit by a car and falling down a laundry chute. Still, kinda nice cat that got along with the Pomeranian we had at the time. So it passed away at age 18. We knew the time was coming and wanted to bury him in the family pet cemetery up at the family weekend house. Unfortunately he passed away on a Monday. We couldn't get up there until Friday. Mom and daughter crying. What to do?

Dad gently wrapped him in 2 fluffy towels, double bagged in plastic and stuck him in the freezer. I thought it was the best solution. What else could I do with a dead cat for 5 days?

My wife and daughter refused to eat from the fridge and we lived on delivery for a week.

I am asking if you've used the nicotine from the Chinese vendor you referenced and if you liked it.
No I haven't started it yet. It's in my freezer but it's totally odourless and although mine came with a tiny tinge of yellow due to oxidatiion I wouldn't hesitate to get some more if I needed to. I bought mine back in the summer when it was very hot!!

IMO, If you need some don't hesitate :)

    How are you doing Charlie?
Not so bad thank you. Back at home after last day of chemo and side effects not too bad at the moment. I'm off to Nice tomorrow to have my stem cells harvested..... Wish me luck :)

Hope that you're doing better too :)

Wow my mother would never eat from the freezer again if I did something like that. She’d probably call the cops to be honest lol

Aw cute. People at my work know these rabbits are protected.

I thought I found Stevie dead and flattened the other day close to her house on the other side of the fence off the roadway. My heart dropped and I seen the white fluffy tail and golden fur that may have been hers. I just seen her not too long before but I still called and called until she came to me and I was relieved. I scooped up the dead one and put it in a dumpster. It looked like it had been there for some time. Didn’t want it close to Stevie’s house.
