Good morning shinies

It's an earlyish Sunday morning in France but very quiet. In fact it's always quiet on Sunday's even if you're somewhere busy. I should know this morning whether my anemia has been dealt with and then I'm off to Nice to get my stem cells harvested. After that I can truly relax for Christmas.

Hope everyone has a truly relaxing Sunday which after all is as it should be.

@Zazie yes lol, I'm trying to work out how to circumvent the isolation rules as we speak. I'm sure it'll be fine... It's not super isolation, just extra precaution as my defences will be low for a while there and I'll be needing transfusions again.... It's an interesting process. :D

The problem is you've got nothing to push pull against. You need to unpick at least a little bit of the end and then make a loop to work with... I'd just bin it though.... Is it really worth it?? :)
Bin it? I managed to use it as is to make my .28 7 wrap coils for my stacked mod. Works quite well.

I’m off to the gym. Had a nap on the couch after spending some time at my work trying to get Stevie into a pet carrier. She wasn’t having it . I don’t want to terrorize her and make her trust me less by chasing her and trying to grab at her. I left her be I figure she’s doing well for a domestic rabbit in the wild.

I’m just down I was all excited with the girl in the pet shop picking out treats and a nice cage and looking up homemade hutch ideas. Oh well guess she’s a lumber yard bunny.

Just makes me think of my old bunny I befriended at work years ago named Steve McQueen. He got squished by 15 thousand pounds of lumber eventually. He wasn’t too smart though I guess to stand there as it lowered down from above. Found half his body sticking out the side after looking worried for a week.

Here he is

Well sure you can use it but I thought you'd decided not to. I have some and it does produce a lot of spitback but it's OK if you choose your RDA carefully.

I didn't realise you had a bunny history lol. But makes it even more essential that you rescue Stevie. Now I realise why you're so worried about her getting caught under a pallet.

Maybe try coaxing her into the transportation cage/box by putting food inside??

Good luck buddy... We don't want another squished bunny on our hands... Or conscience :)

Have a good Sunday :)

Definitely stunning ... you'd better work double hard on the rehab 'cause I expect some skipping will be in order when that hits the mailbox.

Oh I’ll be skipping when that beauty shows up recovered hip or not. We maybhave to settle for a one legged hop!! I’m not quite there.
I wish I had never seen a stabwood mod. I’m going to have to do a historical research project to find out who it was! They’ve ruined me  !! I love the looks and feel unlike a lot of regular mods.

Does anyone know what the emoji with the tumbleweed means? Is there a key to these emojis? I don’t know what half of them mean lol. #babyboomer :tumble:

Good night vaping people!!

Late to the story but have you called the local society for animal welfare or a local shelter/rabbit welfare group to rescue ALL of those rabbits. It’s obvious they are not Meant as native wild rabbits and a rabbit rescue or society may well be able to find homes for ALL the rabbits and also be experienced in humane trapping techniques.

seems like it would be a good call by you for one of the 1st calls to keep them all healthy and safe and not just the one you want to rescue since they’re all beautiful and deserving. And hopefully in loving forever homes once acclimated to people.
Where are you located? I do a lot of inter shelter and animal society awareness and maybe able to find someone who knows someone etc...,

At the very least they should be trapped, neutered/spayed and either put in foster homes or released like we do with most feral cats unle they can be habituated to living indoors with humans. They will suffer terrible otherwise from predators, malnutrition and human contact dangers.

This is my shiny setup that I just modified. The drip tip was falling off easily and I don't have any other drip tips that make sense to use. I put four dots of super glue to each corner of the drip tip and put it on so it's very well in place. Now I take this all over as my second mod. It's more than a backup because I switch off to it throughout the day from my Bident. When I am walking to work and back I use the Bident and at work I use this mod, the Jac with the Pharaoh Mini. No thoughts of a cigarette lately:)

@Ricky Vapes I have an idea for capturing Stevie. When you normally feed her, for lunch or whenever, take the pet carrier and put her food inside. If she's real hungry she will enter. It could take a few days just to get her comfortable with the carrier.

Another option is to attach a door that you can latch shut on the house you built for her. Place food in her house to get her inside. When you see her in the house shut and latch the door. No quick movements or she may freak and split. Go slow.

Take hay from her house that she has been on and wipe down the pet carrier with it for scent familiarity. Place some of that hay inside the carrier. Put food, but more and something she really likes a lot, in the carrier.

Take it to her house, lift the house door, set the opened pet carrier right in front of the house door and brace it there. Seal off any open area where she might escape between her house and the carrier doors. Back off and wait for her to enter the carrier. Once she's in the pet carrier move in slowly and close it's door. That might also take a few tries.

Good luck! :thumb:

Have a good Sunday :)

Thanks it’s Saturday night for me and tomorrow my uncle is looking at a possible new truck for me. Only 79 thousand km on it and an automatic. Might be a nice change from always having a standard. Hope you feel better and keep fighting. Your a good man.

I had food inside she’s just a smart girl. Sprayed the inside with apple cider vinegar when I left to make it smell more enticing and get the human or any other animal smell away. Mabye I’ll get lucky and catch her inside. But I’m thinking of Making the carrier into a small warm cozy spot in her bigger house. Surrounded by hay. It has hay in the bottom already . I could make a trap I guess. Something she walks into and then gets trapped. Don’t want to hurt her obviously.

Ol steve McQueen from 2015 was a good bunny and I never bothered with bunnies again since. But then this one kept coming into the yard and was so cute and curious so I befriended her. I’m closer to Stevie now than ever. I also want her to be happy. She seems happy. But I think her baby daddy has been killed :( been weeks since I seen him.

Oh that's sad that the little one is missing but not an uncommon event in the bunny world I suspect.

So you're definitely doing the right things it's just not so easy I guess. Keep trying and it'll come off eventually. SMT had some good ideas in his post but sounds like you're on the case.

I guess if you're a bunny you develop some pretty well honed capture avoidance strategies :D

As I said in my other post....

I kept my coils very low on my bonza so it wouldn’t spit back much . The twisted ones are nice. I don’t mind some spit back with 3mg juice but at 250 watts spit back would be quite hot . It’s crazy how much juice I can burn through with this stacked mod haha. I love it though best vape ever! I can fill my deep bonza juice well right up and then have it dry after 3-5 hits.

Thanks I might try again. She looked like she wanted to hop into my truck on Friday night leaving work haha. Mabye I’ll get lucky and just open the door then say get in! She’s a cutie.

It’s the dad bunny I haven’t seen in a while I’m worried about. In The baby is still around and getting bigger. Still tiny though.

This is daddy.

That’s a good idea about the house. She likes to go in there so putting a door on it could work.

Thank you so much

Thanks for the concern :)

I live in Victoria BC Canada. I suppose I could try that I don’t want to see them get hurt.
I would take them all if I could .

I’ve been pretty down since failing to bring Stevie home. My mom says Mabye it’s not meant to be and I should try to get a wife. But I don’t want a woman I want my bunny home and safe. I’d like them all to
Be safe although It’s a pretty big problem and I wonder if they want to spend the resources fixing it . Or if bringing attention to the problem would cause them to be killed.

Yes, I know a lot of people love their stacked mechs....ive never tried one but I have a couple of parralel box mods which I really like.... Kind of the opposite process to stacked though.

I agree, the twisted wire does produce some good flavour but for me I hate spit back on the lips, hot or not. It's essential to keep your build low in the deck imo.

Here's a pic of one of my parralel boxes.

He's huge :) In fact all the bunns look quite big... Must be the original domesticated species I suppose. Domesticated rabbits are always bigger than wild ones. I hope he turns up but I know that I'm already assuming the worst.... Everything else is a bonus then :)

Good luck.... You'll get there in the end and then she'll be safe.
