I just ordered a Brunhilde MTL, but I already have the regular one. If I install a single coil in the latter and shut down the airflow, will I be able to get a decent airy MTL vape from it? Or is this thing destined for the PIF/trade pile?

About time you got yourself a Baby Brunhilde:wub:
I've never put just the one coil in My Valkyrie so I'm not sure how she would go. Give your one a try and let me know you go;)

My Fed Ex man must be stupid. How am I sometimes to open the door to get this package he has put flat up against the door :-xView attachment 857391

I have one Fed Ex guy who is not a complete idiot. He can get into the fence and leave stuff on the porch like a normal human of at least average intelligence.

I’ve had some leave boxes like yours, right up on the door so I can’t open it.

Most of them can’t figure out how to open my gate.

Today I saw a woman walking around the street with a package so I went out to ask if she needed help.
Eat me explain... my yard is fenced with a wooden ‘dog ear’ styled fence. Only my driveway is outside of the fence.

Wouldn’t you guess, if you saw that, that the gate would be somewhere near the car?

So she says she can’t find the gate. And it does blend in, until you guess, it’s got to be by the car. And there’s that one section that’s a little shorter and a lot more worn looking...

I guess I was feeling a bit snarky though and tired of explaining this to the slower witted delivery people, so I just said

Yeah, we forgot to put a gate in. I just jump over it.

FEDEX sucks this is just part of their tracking info. No snow in this area. Just lazy excuses! I just want my nicotine and flavors!

Thanks @Susaz but the last items I bought from that retailer took 3 months to arrive and cost me CAD $30. It looks seriously great though.
Oh! I use a door to door courier in Miami to pick all the tiny US parcels and ship them in one lump. Over the years is the best bet. 3 weeks is the usual from China to Buenos Aires. Unfortunately not many BB accesory places. Of course the cost is extra but shipping in the US is generally 1/7 bucks. Thing is, we live too far!

You would be amazed at the number of people (pizza delivery especially) that come to the side door of the apartment building and try to get in. The side entrance has no signs or intercom, it's just a door to the parking lot... They actually have to drive past the main lobby entrance of the building to get to the side door.

Common sense is not a requirement today as I think there is an app for that.

My Fed Ex man, Dana, has been delivering packages to me for over twenty years. I was still working when I moved here and got a lot of packages. I asked him the first time he delivered something always to put things on the bookshelf in my entryway. He has done so without fail ever since, always hollering a single cheerful "hello" to let me know he has dropped something off.

He's still young enough that he might be delivering to me till I die. I hope so.

There really should be a disclosure when buying or renting a house as to the quality of the assigned postal and delivery workers for that address.

But you live in California how can you're driver be delivering to Georgia as well  Mine does the exact same thing, whereas UPS and DHL just put it to the side under a plant we have there, come on FedEx it's not difficult!
Not sure what in my post told you I live in Georgia??
    I am confused.
Some clarity for you, Burbank California was my home last year. It is also where I was born and raised.

Just want to brag on my local USPS. I received a personal phone call two days in a row regarding my missing package from FL Vapor Supply.

Of course, the lady from USPS couldn’t imagine why the vendor didn’t offer to replace the item, but that’s not something I’m going to pursue. Just y’all know here how FLVS treated me and be sure to choose UPS if you order from them.

I just ordered a Brunhilde MTL, but I already have the regular one. If I install a single coil in the latter and shut down the airflow, will I be able to get a decent airy MTL vape from it? Or is this thing destined for the PIF/trade pile?

As a fellow airy fairy MTL vaper, here's my :2c:

With a smaller bore 510 drip tip, using the included 810-510 adapter, it would really depend on how much you can adjust the airflow. The deck is 8 holes of 1mm - I'd be happy vaping that wide open, but I'm a lunatic frankenvaper

So rotate your airflow, and see if you can close off some holes..

Next step is I have no clue on how you can install a single coil, into a deck like this one:

The more knowledgeable can help me out here :nun: but I'd just stick in 2 2.5mm id or 3mm id single wire 28ga coils.

Then turn off the smoke alarm and vape your lil heart out

Meet one of the worlds smallest flat wire coils on the Haku Riviera RDTA ;)

    riviera5x2mm.jpg

I ordered some Thunderhead Creations ribbon wire with my last nic base order. I haven't been able to find a link for it, outside of NZ unfortunately - here's what I got:
    https://www.mixologyvape.co.nz/shop/accessories/wire/thc-ribbon-wire-10m/

    2.5mm id coil - 0.5mm x 0.2mm kanthal flat wire @ 0.7ohms

It is surprisingly a lot easier to build with, than I thought it would be. It has the ramp up (and cool down) of 28ga round wire, with the flavour of a fused clapton.

The only thing is, being kanthal the resistance is pretty high. If I could find it in ni80, I'd happily buy 100m :D

Unless the top cap has a single coil af option the flavor will suffer.
