That’s a great flavor rta but watch some videos. It’s tricky wicking so it doesn’t “leak”. steam crave actually put out their own tutorial which maybe on their website. It condenses or oozes if your not precise but once you get it down you’ll be thrilled with it!! I have 3.
Thanks Sara......yes a little birdy mentioned something about the wicking. I'll definitely watch some review and build videos to see how though....thanks.

Hope you're doing ok and the movement with the new hip is getting better and better :)

Somehow the stars have aligned and I'm supposed to get like four different orders today. One of them is the mosaic white Luna I'm excited but also nervous cuz I've seen a couple really ugly ones but 98% of them are absolutely gorgeous LOL. Of course with that much mail I can easily see my mailman pulling up undeliverable status update on me. I'm going to try to be out there so at the very least he has to look at me while he drives past without delivering my mail.

I hope the Luna has a little bit of pink or purple in it's Mosaic arrangement and isn't super duper crowded as far as the Mosaic pieces. The ones that have a ton of stuff on them always look kind of bad to me lol

The thing with coils is actually making the wire into a coil is dead simple. That’s why working off a spool or shots of your own made coils are preferable. You can wrap any ID you want and as many wraps as you want. No need to buy all sorts of different sizes and wraps. The coiling is the easy part. It’s the wicking that takes some practice learning.

Maybe you can tag Virm, is it? I'll try.... @virm here's another link for you. Thx Pigs;)

virm it is! just the sound i thought of while making the account. thanks for keeping us in mind.

    seeing this is the epfths time it is recommended i coil my own_ i must indeed acquiesce;

'twas actually fellow advisors that said, step one pre-made. which are on the way hopefully. once i'm confortable with the Elevate and installation i'll start exploring wire.

the thing about vaping is that the fun of it comes with the variety and individuality of it. when I first came here I had absolutely no intention whatsoever of trying to build anyting I wasn't interested in RTA rdas..nope. I was simply trying to find a device that wouldn't break at the charging port within 4 months every time because I was using aios. And I knew that there was deeming regulations coming and I can't afford to buy a hundred different little all in ones lol. So I really just came in looking for a recommendation for a different type of mod.

I lucked out mightily by having @Opinionated s one on one help for probably 2 months everything that popped in my head I asked her. She "talked" to me about rebuildables and external battery mods and helped me to pick out a few good starters. The first time I actually used the beserker and successfully built it with the included coils I was hooked!

but you better believe I started out with pre-built coils because I didn't even know what I was trying to make until I had actually used them. I was terrified thinking I was going to do something wrong.

It's a process. I think if you live in the United States its a good idea to go ahead and have a stockpile if you can but it doesn't mean you have to use everything right away you can buy things that you don't know if you'll ever use but u know will last... you might never want to make coils and it's not a big deal with wire because that will always be here but you have to take it at your own pace.

My suggestion would be to go ahead and buy some simple round wire that's cheap because once you get your pre-wrapped coils you might want to give it a go for fun but if you don't want to then you have some wire for later on. But nobody can tell you how you should proceed giving advice as great it's wonderful it's what a community is supposed to do but ultimately each person sc should do what they want at their pace :)

thanks for all the recommendations too.

@Opinionated has helped me as well_ had i not had a very nice team myself, would have been jealous of your having had a sweet monogamous apprenticeship_ my trip was more a cyber orgy, which included Ana, Katykatkat, jebbn, opinionated, you all here, two other flowers (del rose and mimoeschen), 1960, angz and a lot of help by letitia and prunk and i can't keep counting...

    THanks to all.

I found some. But first, this site here:
FTDB - The FastTech Tech Specs Database
is a FT database that is easier to search in. For your 3mm or 3.5mm id pre-coiled coils try adding this into the tabs:
Under Depth: select 3mm and 3.5mm
In the Search box use the word: pre-coiled
and the results should mainly be the right id coils.

    Here's some ideas:
    https://www.fasttech.com/products/9658289
Plain 26g ni80 single wire coil 3mm id

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/9660666
(technically it's just a clapton, not a fused - Wotofo didn't get that memo ;)

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/9660668
    fused clapton

thank you so much for taking the trouble. very helpful, i restarted from there and found a bunch. also sent to FT on many of the ones without ID, just because...

i'll link the stuff i've ordered in my thread in a bit for archival reference for the next person with a similar project.

i'm getting eyed_ this forum has been called 'your other addiction' today... we have to go take a walk now if i'm to stay in the good graces...

    she's coming_ bye

The aromanizer supreme V2 is right next to me now....unfortunately still mint in its cellophane wrap. I must build it and try it. I'll probably have a big building marathon when i've got my stem cell stuff out of the way. Soo much kit and not enough time :p
I brought one of them with me today, the SV2 is a great RTA and quite thirsty too. ;) I have Velocity decks in mine as I got them long before the Supreme V2.1 came out with the stock postless deck. The postless decks are dead simple to build it's basically a mini version of the Plus, just rest your wick tails to the bottom of the juice channel, don't pack it in and don't have it poking through the holes. ;)

SV2 with the 8ml extension tank on an old DNA 133. :vapor:

    Good morning shinies

Well I've got several Chinese packages doing th rounds whilst attempting to negotiate the China parcel mountains but my non vape related Logitech hd webcam will arrive today followed by my braun series 5 razor tomorrow.....does that count :D:p
I'm waiting on some vape mail too.

Of course the Braun s5 counts. I've never used an electric, ever! Ummm ... I've used a double edged safety razor since I started shaving. Like so...
    816ZhZok6KL._SL1500_.jpg

Funny story goes with that. One day many years ago the wife needed to shave her legs and her stupid plastic Bic razors were too dull. She borrowed mine. Both legs were rather bloody after using it AND she was ...... at me!!! Women. I did tell her to be careful beforehand. She said "I know how to use a razor". Famous last words!!! :p

Good morning shiners! Now NY gov Cuomo wants to pass a flavor ban even though his “emergency order” was thrown out in court. Worst part he keeps talking about all the deaths from vaping. I’m really losing all patience with these politicians. Tweeted my frustration out at him, but we know it’ll make no difference.

    There, I vented.
Good afternoon Eskie. :) Venting is a good thing, vent away. I ignore all that chatter (no head in sand, simple choice). Especially when I know it's a battle that won't be won in the near term. Down the road, perhaps. We are a small and very easy target within the Nanny system. And frankly we simply do not have the numbers, nor the tactics, to fight this. See Sun Tzu's "Art of War". ;)

Thinking of getting another db3 for the stash since I'm quite liking the size and shape.
I love my DB3. It is perfect in hand. I dropped mine the other day in the living room. Haha, my feet never moved so quick. The DB and atty are fine, they landed on carpet.
My heart only skipped a couple beats.

The Steam Crave Supreme V2 was only the 2nd RBA I had. I was a bit in over my head with it lol!!

Ahhh my hip. I’ve hit a wall the last few weeks. Just not much improvement. I’m a bit frustrated with the difficulty of getting around and the amount of pain I’m still having.

I’m hoping that when I start outpatient physical therapy next week that the recovery will speed up a bit more.

I wanted to wish you the best of luck with your stem cell procedure and chemo. My hip injury doesn’t compare to what you’re going through. I’ll be praying for you Charlie.

I hope 2020 is a lot better for everyone especially you!!

    XOXO

Yes indeed. I remember my first like it was yesterday. There's something about the way the chip is designed and set up which even affects the vape in just power mode......soo smooth. I try to hunt down the dna chip whenever i need a new mod. The 60, the 75 are some of the most sort after in the vaping world and its with good reason :)

Glad you have discovered the best vape you can get.....long may it continue :)

have you used a Yihi chip. Same smooth vape when set up correctly. Yihi does it slightly different from Evolv. I’d say I have the same number of both and get a fantastic vape regardless of which I’m using. Then again the Omni board is a close second to those two. Very close 2nd.
