Snakes I can handle just give them their space and they don't bother you. People are the ones you need to watch out for espically the normal ones they are always hiding something!

Yep! Snakes are good...when they are about 20 mts away from me. Just leave well alone!

Searching interwebs for diy juice making starter kit, this is looking like a rabbit hole...

I wouldn't get a starter kit , I've seen those and from what I've seen they are a waste of money .

You really only need a few things.

Decide what kind of bottles you want, (gorilla or glass etc. and buy some in varying sizes.. you might like a small variety there..)

Decide if you want to mix by volume or weight, and then buy either a very good scale, or some measuring instruments (syringes of varying sizes and graduated cylinders)

Get some of those small funnels. You can order 10 of them on eBay for 1.00 if your willing to wait for the slow boat.

Decide if you want to allow a greater amount of steep time, or if you want a magnetic stirrer.. if you want to allow a little more time in steeping and have a good arm for shaking you can skip the magnetic stirrer.. you can always buy it later if you change your mind.

Other than that, just buy your nicotine, VG and PG if you use it (not everyone does)

Find two simple ejuice recipes you think you will really like that have good reviews by many people, and buy just those ingredients. .. as time goes on and you make more recipes, you'll have more flavors than you can imagine in no time.. but in the beginning, just start with two reasonably simple recipes.

That's all you really need.

A question if I may....I am going to mix a fair amount of juice in the next couple of weeks for a few people. Instead of a magnetic stirrer has anyone ever tried one of those hand held electric mixer/blender things? Or would that just be silly and create too much air?

I am certain that this question would have been covered a million times in the DIY section, so apologies for my laziness in not checking there first

You can use immersion blenders or even drills with paint stirrers for larger volumes of juice..

Just allow a few hours for the air bubbles to dissipate.

Thanks heaps. I got a little one years ago cheap as chips. Fair dinkum, that thing has done a ton of work and still goes like a trooper.

Until now the Vaping Bogan is the only person I've ever heard use the phrase "Fair dinkum"

Well, how many people from down under do you know? I've heard that quite a lot from people that live in the NT (that's the area with the most epic advertisement ever). Don't know how common it is in other areas.

or a chunk of lead fired at around 850 feet per second:D
No.....fair dinkum! The lead is kept for the spiders!
(And yes, 'fair dinkum' is used a lot here).

I use a badger paint mixer or norpro coffee mixer. the attachments are swappable thankfully as the head came off my badger attachment yesterday after about 16 months of use.

That's it! Or something similar. So it really does work ok with the juice?

I didn't even know that magnetic stirrers existed. Just looked up a video of one and talk about cool. I'm going to start DIYing at some point and I really appreciate you sharing that info. When I get ready I hope you don't mind if I hit you up for some advice. Thanks!
