Uh...my allowance was burning a hole in my pocket...

So I just grabbed a DotAIO SE (Black).

Found it for $59 USD at Vapes By Enushi...

I don’t know if it was a typo, cuz they’ve got the regular DotAIO for like $98 something...I don’t know why the SE was listed so much lower, but hey...I HAVE A RECEIPT NOW. So they can’t switch the price now!

Woohoo! Shinyitis in full effect!

Ya know...I THOUGHT this thread was a “support group” to help me STOP spending money...

But now, I see that it’s a group that supports Shinyitis, and encourages spending!

The Kudos is tiny for a single 18650 regulated squonker. Here with the Hotcig/Rigmod RSQ which is small.

Agree with you on that ^^^^^ @Pigs :D
Hey Possum maybe we should call an interstate truce and do some virtual vaping together ? At least til the day before Origin 1

EDIT: State of Origin is a massive rugby league rivalry between QLD and NSW. 3 matches every year in our winter that fill the pubs and stop the traffic.

Top o the mornin to ya Charles. You need to give us daily updates how you're progressing plz mate...that would be very much appreciated :thumb:
How're ya doing Fred....?

Well I've got a score of 5.2 on my neutrophil count which is the most important of the three white blood cells we all have. Inflammation markers in my blood are reducing indicating an improving picture as the body and antibiotics work on the residual bits of my infection. My white blood cell count is going up very slowly...too slowly for me as it's crucial that you achieve certain levels to be allowed home.

Starting to get a bit peed off with the stuck in hospital aspect although morale is generally still positive. It's just an extremely long time to be in hospital and even with the exercise machines you still inevitably get swollen ankles and feet as a side effect....

That's about it except to say I'm moving in the right direction and will get there sooner or later :)

Thanks for asking Fred :D

No, the price is correct and it vaped the same. It's the construction which makes it cheaper. Instead off billet aluminium it's zinc alloy etc etc.

You won't notice any difference in the vape :D

Good morning shiners!

I took the big fused clapton out the Axial and replaced it with my trusted flat wire...0.68×0.27 kanthal. 3.5mm coil and it ohms out at 0.5
Now it ramps up fast, much less spitting and better flavor...

I'll stay with this...no more fooling around.:D

Looks nice! I’ve found that rather than that S shaped wick tails needed with a single coil, that splitting the tails and then bringing them down to either side works a little better for me. Something to play with the next time you wick if you want to give it a try.

Good morning shiners! Have a medical procedure today so I won't be around. Probably a good thing as no food or even coffee this morning. Trust me, you don't want me around without coffee anyway.

Good morning Eskie. I hope all went well for you yesterday. Mine went well. My back where they operated is a bit sore, and I have 8 stitches, but it looks like I'ma gonna live. :)

Onward and forward my friend. Glad to hear you are moving in the right direction Charlie. This has been a long process you've had to go through, but it looks like it is soon coming to an end. Last step is to let us know when your coming home so we can have the party ready when you get there.
