I used the closest wire I could find, 28 g SS316. Too small to see, I think there’s an extra wrap or two lol. First time I’ve ever gotten cotton in a coil that small.

Just a word of warning on the Xeta clone. My SXK clone was flawless for many months - my fav rba for the BB for sure until last week I went to rebuild it and the negative post snapped at the base of the grub screw - splitting the clamp in 2. Now unuseable.
I'm not heavy handed with post screws but I had heard about this happening to others.
The small clapton build had been installed for a long time and it was during un-scewing that it snapped in 2 and kind of crumbled.
The posts are made of some type of alloy(zinc?) and not SS. Not built to last.

I'm sure round wire wouldn't put the same type of pressure on it.

Anyway it was cheap and I spose I got my money's worth.

Actually, this exact thing happened with the original so Steve Hasani sent out replacements to everyone.

Yes it is a rather good price, especially for France where things tend to be expensive

I got my other dot at a good price too but that was through an organized buy in one of my Facebook groups
