Great! Thank you. I also vape low wattage. I got it for the Luna I finally got. Think they will play well together? I’m dragging my feet to mess with them, two too many new things to tackle.
They play perfectly together. I've got my Axial on a Pumper, which is just a curvier Luna mod
If it's your first unregulated mod, don't be put off by that fact. You already know what wattage range you like, and an Ohm's law calculator will tell you what resistance you need to build, to be in that range.
Use the one at Steam Engine:
Ohm's law | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators
Under LOCK click on Voltage and Power
in the Power box, type in your usual wattage - mine would be 23
in Voltage, type in 4.0
and it will give you a coil resistance in the top box
eg: for me I stuck in 23 watts and my resistance result is 0.7ohms - so when I build a coil, I aim for around that.
A fresh battery will give you 4.2v, which increases the wattage a tad, but I found most mods drop pretty quickly down to 4.0v. So now I just build for that 4v wattage range.
Use the Axial on a regulated mod to try out different coils. When you are happy with it, then slap it on the Luna - and become a Lunatic
While you are using the calculator, it also gives you the CURRENT in Amps of your build. Samsung 30q is 15A and LG HG2 is 20A - so this is a good way to see how close, or how far in our situation you are from your battery's CDR
