no. I use a wick that is the size of a KGD pad (cut strip but the length) and then I barely clip it once I have it threaded through the coil. Maybe less then 1/4 inch cut off and just the part the I rolled to get it in the coil. I use the rest of the long tails and tuck it under the coils.Thanks....it's the velocity deck and I definitely wicked it to sparsely......
