Not me. Got a pm that was rather nasty and rude. I’ll take care of it myself, just wondering if I could get in any trouble for my response. Someone here doesn’t like us going off topic, and let me know about it. Out of all the threads on ecf, I consider this one an extended family where we can share our lives, and use as an outlet. I understand what the topic of this forum is, but I feel close to people here and love that we share our lives with each other. It’s one of the best social outlets I have, and I’m sure there are quite a few here that agree. I’d be happy to call any of you my friend, and I certainly after over a year here, have strong emotions for many of you. I have not encountered another online community like this. I love the vaping, but I love the people more by magnitudes.

Edit. With what’s going on in this crazy world right now, this is the only social interaction that many of us have. I was born to make friends, treat people well, and well yes, socialize.

Just out of curiosity, can private messages be reported to admin? In some other forums I frequent, private messages are just that, private between the participants. The admin doesn’t moderate pm’s. What are the rules here about pm’s?

Thanks Opinionated. I'm just one of many around the world (best of luck @Skunk!) and feel very lucky on so many levels. I'm not dealing with a life threatening illness etc. Keeping perspective is important.

Thanks. I think I will be ok. The rides I have been getting have mostly been driving grocery and health care workers to and from work and people to and from the doctor. I wish it was busier but I feel like what I am doing is important (does make me a bit nervous though)Had 1 passenger with a sick baby going to the pediatrician today. Another said how grateful she was that we were out there driving, otherwise she would have no way to get around. All the stores around are hiring for stockers. I need to redo my resume today.

I swear, there’s one in every crowd. He or she could just act like an adult and scroll on by, if he/she doesn’t care for the conversation. 99% of us are just fine with the chat here. Most of us really could use this sense of community right now, myself for starters.

Maybe out that person so we could all ignore. There’s a saying where I come from, he who stirs the **** pot has to lick the spoon.

Only because I work in crappy conditions - literally

my work uniform is baggy track pants, baggy top and big boots. I absolutely love not having to dress tidily/neatly/fashionably for work

Morning all.

Queues at the unemployment office around the block yesterday and the gov website crashed all day.
I'd be lining up today but I know it'd be many hours' wait followed by a harrassed, overworked public servant that's been trained over successive governments to look for ways to stop you from getting benefits.
Think I'll wait a day more

Seriously, it is stressful enough that you have to worry about you and your family's health. Adding no income into that mix, just isn't cricket.

I'm so grateful to be able to work right now, as otherwise I'd be in your boat too. I'm thinking of you, and others in this horrible situation
