The sewing your own sounds interesting but you'd need to source the correct paper/material. Apparently the virus is big so it is easily blocked by the paper material used in masks
I have added things inside mine that I sewed. I used (don't laugh) panty liners (they have that elastic strip) and I also used large gauze bandages that I had, one to a pack and I do not open the pack until ready to use. I can (hopefully) buy more of this waterproof gauze

You were a cutie..

My parents tried to get some baby pictures of me done and I had this great big smile on my face lifting up my skirt... (and that was apparently the best the photographer could get.. lol)

They didn't bother paying anyone to take more pictures of me for years after... lol

My husband said my personality showed even then, a harbinger of who I was to eventually become.. hahaha

morning all.
scotland (and the rest of the UK) is now in lockdown. basically going outside for food shopping only. 3 weeks currently. joining what many of you already have in place. got a text from the government which is a first.
panels? sender is still preparing item (since the 9th). hope they're giving them a good polish.

We're closing in on mandatory lockdown too, especially since the state government was asleep at the wheel late last week when they let an entire cruise ship (2,700 passengers) disembark without testing or isolation and walk off into the community and travel on to other states, one person from that cruise died today and i think 140 people form it have now been tested and confirmed as having it, so the others are trying to be tracked down. 1 in 8 cases here in my state came from that damn ship. Massive own goal by the fools in the state government who didnt send anyone to greet the vessel and do their due dilligence....

Not even going to get into why those idiots onboard walked off a ship (which as we know has been the hotbed of the virus as theyre closed ecosystems with people crammed on in a limited space) into the community and thought that was a sensible thing to do....a lot of selfishness in many forms during this thing. Madness, on all fronts.

goodbye
Anyone up for breakfast with Rob? Being stuck in the house, I'm eating regular meals again. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. Usually too busy and running around with my realty business to eat more than one meal a day. Wonder how much I'm gonna weigh after this lock down is over. Spent the better part of last year dieting and fasting to get down to where I want to be.

Breakfast time. Organic free roaming eggs, seriously sharp cheddar, sausage, tomato, and green pepper. Home made whole grain bread with raspberry jam and pbutter. Mmm mmm good. AIO, juice, and batteries in picture for topic correctness.

Free 21 day meditation. I started meditating again today in hopes that it would help. While in California in 2018 I got the whole library from Deepak. Sometimes I do it. Sometimes I go for months without doing it. It helps me but as with all things that help, sometimes I skip them.

got a request for some liquid from a guy at work...would have been better if he'd requested it before the remote working and lock down kicked in...i'll have to post it to him now.
went to mix it and...my scales are jiggered. luckily i had a syringe lying around i'd never used. haven't mixed by volume in 2 years. ordered another set of scales on amazon. they seem to be still doing next day delivery for prime members.
