Did you survive running the covid gauntlet today?

It was a doctor's apointment. I was munching on a piece of vegemite toast and gulping down a coffee at 8am when the receptionist called me and told me it was going to be a telephone consultation.
I was relieved. Waited, waited,waited. Called them back, waited. The doc never did call me. I don't blame her - they all deserve medals at the moment.

So no insights about Sydney traffic today. I've gotta drive to Marrickville tomorrow so I'll report back after that.

Apologies...way of topic, but I just feel the need to say this.
I'm bursting with pride and thankfulness that i'm in NZ and we have this wonderful Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern that is spearheading the fight against this plague. The way she's conducting herself is truelly commendable. She has this "Motherly" calm/fermness when she addresses the nation. She is making a huge contribution to the positive psychy in this country.
I truelly think this crazy world needs more woman (woman like her) in the right positions.

I wish Jacinda ran our place. She is one very impressive leader.

Agreed, Scotty From Marketing (as our PM is known for those from OS, as he used to be in marketing), did nothing and then cut & pasted what Jacinda did...

People might remember he was on a holiday in Hawaii, while our country was burning with bushfires and people were dying at xmas - the fire service had been asking him for a meeting since April as they thought it was going to be a grim fire season and wanted federal help and coordination, and he fobbed them off. Utter fudging clown

I rediscovered my precious again...Boomstick Reaper RDA.
Got so caught up in the Axial, Aromamizer and Unicorn lately, it got shifted aside..can't believe it got to that actually.
Anyway, I built new duel Kanthal coils ohming out at 0.49 and i'm in heaven again. I previously had a 0.25 duel in it, but ran way to hot. Its perfect now..can't be happier.

keyboard on my phone seems to have become engorged for some reason. stupid updates.
was using the axial on a regulated mod so will need to switch out the 0.22 for something more rowdy but it is now home

I’m going to take a picture of my craft room for you and show you what I found yesterday when I was organizing it.

Right? I forgot that goat bell was there (on top of the cpu) and I had to clang it a few times.

I sit down at the jewelry table to make something I have in mind and as I shuffle through things looking for what I need, I find so many other interesting things I want to make.
Yesterday sitting down to bead my BFF a birthday present, and foraging through boxes looking for just the right beads and then I found hooks and leather and before I knew it I had made a purse tassle. Today I must try again to stay focused and get the present done
