Here's my lil secret - I've only done a whole 3 sft's out of my 80 flavours

My problem is I've only ever liked vaping creamy ejuice. So once I figured out an ice cream/cream base I was happy with (trial & error, not by sft's) - every time I got a new main flavour, I'd just chuck some into 5mls of cream base to see if I liked it or not.

I did take a hell of a lot of notes however, of every new flavour - percentages that worked and didn't work, how long it needed steeping and so on.

I don't sft much myself anymore. Started just winging it about 100 flavors ago.

what you preaching at me for then??!

    Morning all!

@Pigs yes, I have a few unicorns. Very well made, easy to build, plenty roomy. All good.

I had a dream last night that I invented a chess-like game using atties instead of chess pieces. I think this isolation may be getting to me more than I want to admit.

Okay my fasttech order for primarily the Ulton Tripod RTA just got a slightly but more ridiculous...

    What was in the order:

    1 x Ulton Tripod RTA
    1 x Tripod 3.4ml Replacement/Extension Kit
    1 x Curved Tweezers
    1 x Coil Winder

(The last 2 items chucked in for convenience and since id given mine away last year)

So last week they sent me an email saying they were splitting the order into 2 to speed things up

    1st Package:

    1 x Tripod 3.4 Replacement Kit
    1 x Curved Tweezers

Its been sitting in HK Post tracking in HK for 3 days...no signs of movement

Since they had already set the status for the Tripod itself and the coil winder to restocking in 7 days once, when they set it to 7 days again, i sent them an email asking them that if the coil winder was going to hold things up, cancel it, and please send the Tripod as a priority

So 2 days ago, the coil winder was restocked, but the Tripod was set back 10 days in "restocking" - thats 24 days if youre keeping count

Just now i got an email saying theyre were "splitting up the order to speed things up"

    Can you guess?

Yes, theyre sending the coil winder in its own package, by itself

I guess it never occurred to them that without the Tripod RTA itself, the primary reason for the order, sending the rest in a hurry probably wasnt terribly helpful....

Its like getting mailed a car piece by piece, with the last piece being the key....

    Fell my pain people....feel it

If i never hear the name 2FDeal ever again it will be too soon....

Just for fun, if anyone is interested, the Diesel. 25mm at the base, 2 ml with a 5ml bubble glass, single/dual build. Threads are super smooth, so nice to disassemble and assemble. So heavy! That’s a con. I think this is the heaviest atty I have ever seen. Nice matte black, don’t know if the picture shows it well but there’s some fine texture on the base for better grip. I wouldn’t mind keeping this, actually.

Reckon you'd need a wicked large ID to make that work well for a single coil build...pretty much anytime ive ever read "single or dual coil capable" in an RTA specs listing ive mentally scrubbed the single part out and
    moved on

Ive also learned the minute an RTA maker claims their RTA is "leak-proof" that im going to be sending it back within 3 days if i buy it. Cant remember which one i last feel for maybe the Zeus RTA...whatever it was, it was the polar opposite, and was the leakiest tank i ever owned, and my 1st tank was my famous Subleak Spitty (SubTank Mini). Hateful thing. The topfill seal wasnt tall enough to seal, neither was its replacement in the spare parts bag, the thing just dumped the contents out of the airflow, which is quite a feat considering it was top airflow as well, 1st and only product i hate posted back to GeekVape, a company id liked up till that point. Side tangent, never found a top airflow tank that could give anywhere near the taste of a trad bottom airflow RTA...and i tried plenty of them/ "Leak-Proof" and "Top Airflow" are the words that stopped me impulse buying gear, totally cured me...

Did you remember to drill the holes for the 510 pins so the attys wouldn't roll around?

you can go in to FT and manipulate your own order when it is on hold and something is restocking. You can click on 'recent orders" then when everything shows, in the upper right side is another thing you can click on says something like "order details" and it will tell you which items are restocking and which are ready to ship. On this page you can cancel anything and ask for refund and thin your cart out this way only to things that are 'ready to ship'
As you do this you can make a cart of the things you asked to get refunded so you have now made another order of the held up stuff.
(be sure you ask for refund or you will get store credit)

Thanks Delores. Massive deck for sure and air to spare. Not my normal thing these days but heaps of fun and loving it.
Speaking of dreams mine have been going crazy. So active and a bit scary . I only remember impressions. Global stress and fear pervading.

Good morning shiny fam <3 I was shocked this morning to see some movement on my RCM Infinity Kryptek.

I was starting to get a little worried there. 18 days is the longest it's taken to get to JFK. It's not in my mailbox yet, but at least I know it's on the way. Whew.

Good morning shiners! Awful lot of posts to catch up on so likes to all until I get to them.

Right now I’m dealing with my daughter getting sick. While she’s young and healthy, she does have asthma. Been trying to trace back her exposure and the best I can come up with is an ER visit she made a few weeks ago for vomiting which I didn’t know about. She knows better than to do anything medical without calling me, but thought she handle it herself and didn’t want to bother me, but should have known better. Now I’ll have to kill her once she’s better.

She’s at home and doing ok. She already has a bunch of stuff I made her get a while ago like an auto blood pressure cuff and most important a finger oxygen saturation meter. Her oxygen is now fine, she had a drop for a bit and I made arrangements at the hospital for her, but it perked back up and she’s riding it out from home. At least if she does get worse the folks she would need are all available, so at least that’s covered. At first it wasn’t clear as she’s had no fever, but she’s made up for that by having every other symptom (87% of those infected have fever, but 13% don’t so it took a few days to be sure with her). But of course she has to be different.

It looks like she’ll just have a mild case and get through ok, but needless to say it’s been keeping me occupied the last several days. She won’t let me tell her mom so dad is taking on the situation. Her boyfriend has been great at taking care of her too, but I figure he’ll be sick within the next week, so I’ll have the two of them on my hands.

Anyway, that’s why I’ve been AWOL the past week. She should start to improve in another week, so that’ll be a relief.

I'm glad she's feeling better. I hope her boyfriend will be ok. You need to stay safe too. If you need someone to talk to I'm here.

Sounds like your experiences have been wildly different from mine. I would drop my usual 3-3.5 ID in there, should be fine the way the air is directed.

Some top airs are less than great, but so are some bottom airs. I think, being late to the game, I missed out on a lot of prototypes, and might have a higher opinion than those who started trying these things in earlier stages of development.

Honestly, I had more leaky sub ohm tanks than leaky RTAs.

All that said, haven’t used this yet, so you may be right on all counts about it. If they tell me to keep it, I’ll fire it up and let you know.
