To anyone that has a Serpent Elevate. I have always wondered if I can use it at a higher wattage with no problem. It's built to 33 ohm's. I use Steam Engine and it tells me 35 watts for the ohm's and wattage. It still feels too cool for me. Will it hurt to use 40 or 45 watts so I can get a warmer vape? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

the dotmod se. in the unlikely event that any one in the UK (or someone wants to get one from the UK) they're in stock at ecigone (£49.99 i paid slightly less with a voucher) and vaping101 (£47.99). never had a problem with either company. i'll need to get that ohm RBA head as i don't fancy buying a lot of replacement coils.

At worst your build will caramelize faster and you'll need to burn/wick more often.

Also did you notice they suspended sales of ammo and gun licenses (which for our American friends are not easy to get at the best of times) today...and of course we dont have a lot of guns in the general population, but of course the ones that do exist are in the hands of the nutty "sporting shooters" types....

Basically in Sydney we're in pretty much total lockdown now
Yes I was video calling my sister in Sydney yesterday and they've been effectively locked down following the advice but she did say that a lot of others are completely ignoring the rules...

    Lockdown is coming for sure.

I did see that on the news.

What concerns me is that once freedoms are taken away by the authorities it's never easy to wrest them back.
I understand the need for 90% of this but I wonder how our society's going to look in 12 months time.
Very different....for the better I hope!!

I wonder about that myself. Theory is that it won't be as bad because a lot of people have been exposed and have antibodies, so we are less likely to run into someone infected. There should be a much slower rate of new infections. But for someone with risk factors like me being old with dodgy lungs that's not much consolation. It won't really be safe to go out until the vaccine hits the shelves or they develop some medications to treat it. I guess the bright side is that with any luck the hospitals will be functioning normally by then, and equipment and tests will finally be available.

My daughter the nurse just got transferred to a new location, a general intake ward. Still getting one mask per shift and no gowns, and it's 12 hour shifts. They got a patient in end of last week, a woman from a local jail with a nasty cough. Fortunately by the next day her cough had cleared up and she seems to be OK. They don't know of course since they still don't have access to testing.
Another school of thought is, it may be seasonal, and taper off naturally in the next couple months. I have not heard any evidence to suggest that people will develop antibodies simply by exposure, I think one actually has to become infected for that to happen. I could be wrong on that.

@Eskie hope your daughter is doing alright today. Hope all of you are.
