You have enough room to space a coil with just a few wraps. Good hearing you are enjoying the new setup.

tried doing it proper, made a perfect open-legged (term?) and an extra normalsies :)
yea, it looks big enough to space i think.. didn't think to try it before i put it all away.
    thanksoz!

Virmy dont give up on DIY!
One thing that worked for me starting out was to find a well known clone of a retail juice I liked. Heaps of clone recipes online if you search.
And yes - shake until the bubbles are so finely mixed in with the juice that it goes almost milky. And steep steep.
After mixing I leave mine on a sunny window sil with the cap off for half a day - seems to accelerate the steeping.

gonna try the sun tomorrow. thanks for tup (fifth time i tried to go i and finger went u_ not changing it)

i thought to try and find a clone for my ADV for which i'd got the nominal ingredients, but to no avail... stupid germans seem too decent to try and rip-off a mixer... gonna illicit the resident herself, doubt she'll manage as we won't figure out the key words

gonna try to find a recpie close enough to what i want to make up.

btw stupid INW mix mint is candy as BURP! no one noted that_ just 'like peppermint' i guess to westerners the word peppermint means the candy rather than the herb.. you people digust and appall me

    thanks for the pickmeup;)

@virm. Not sure I can post a Cheech and Chong video - rules? I guess it’s a cultural/generational thing. Suffice to say, it means I hit ‘em hard. As for watts, I use blanks mostly on unregulated/mechs. So whatever the ohms do with the battery they get, that’s where my watts are. You’ll figure that out. Start low, and go up till it suits you. As for ID, my biggest jig is 3.5, so usually I use that or a 3.0. Not a big difference. Just if I’m making 3s for something, I’ll make 3s for blanks, too.

I think everyone has you covered for your juice questions. The blank will be mighty handy for taste testing.

yes mine is at 3id now, bit looser prbbly.

    thanks

you know i still don't get the appeal of meching as far as vaping is concerned, i mean i get the whole_ manual-gear feel but with the changing power seems you'd never be able to maintain a chosen spot...

I've got no idea why unregulateds appeal

I swore 6 months ago I was only ever going to use regulated squonk mods, for precisely your reason. But the lure of a $35 stabwood Luna was too much to resist. And what was worse, I began to like the changing power thing. So I got some more unregulateds, and a mech or two. And now I'd be perfectly happy with no regulated mods at all

My advice? don't try one :D

    and if you do....

I build for 3.8v. A battery will drop from 4.2v to 4v pretty quickly. Then a bit slower down to 3.8v. It sits around there for a while, then slowly trickles down to 3.6. I usually pull it at 3.5 or 3.6v.

All this means for my 0.6ohm build is that the first few puffs are really rowdy 29watts (4.2v), then just rowdy for a bit 26watts (4v), until it's perfect 24watts (3.8v)
