I wish I could show off the entire office, pano photos are too large.
We are a pretty imaginative bunch here. Post separate pics of the rest of office. We'll be able to piece it together.

There is also a queen sized pull out sofa opposite of the desk/ work station since the room doubles as a guest room.

You’re trying to pull me down a whole new rabbit hole . Only so many new tricks you can teach an old, impatient dog like me. But, I must admit they look intriguing.
I came here thinking the group would help my bank account!

I wouldn't accept a squonker as a gift right now, what if I loved it? LOL. (I would probably accept a squonker gift, but not certain I'd use it.)

Who am I kidding. Of course I would use it.

Anna

And that's the fear right? Not hating it, but loving it so much you just can't go back!

Lol.. true true.

As a dog behavior consultant and trainer, I have to interject... You can train a dog of any age! I have successfully worked with 14 and 16 year old dogs.

Yup, you can teach a dog most anything at almost any age. You should see my son's dog compared to day one, LOL. Had to bring her to the vet on Wed and she was fine (well, she needed to be muzzled, and crouched right by the door to our "room" when they took her back to do bloodwork, but she didn't try to chomp on anyone.

She's a smart little thing though. She happily jumps INTO my car, as long as the kid has his laundry with him, as she knows she's going on a nice little doggy visit.... Any other car trip is met with deep, deep suspicion.

She loves my son so much, I kind of pray nothing happens to him for HER sake. I mean, I would keep her obviously.... But much as she loves me, I think she fell head over heels in love with my kiddo on the day they met. He's like that with animals, I wish he'd decide to be a vet. Of course, I suppose the idea of injecting and euthanizing dogs all day holds little appeal to a pet lover.

Anyone can be conditioned into almost anything, with the right behavioral tools. The behavioral sciences were all a bit scary to me for that reason, way too easy to "condition" the wrong way. I did little conditioning on my kid until he was about 5, and about to enter kindergarden, we just had a bunch of fun. I mean, I taught him to avoid roads and stuff, but we grew up on a farm, and as far as I'm concerned, kids have little enough time to just be kiddos. I still maintain, "Having fun," in whatever fashion (the kid's fashion, not the adults) is a HUGE part of parenting.

Which meant I had to sit through endless seasons of that show with the darn ship that was alive, that sucked, so desperately. The kid recently told me it had I think 4 seasons? Sure felt like ELEVEN to me....
