On my way to work (a 50 metre journey) I heard 'bokbok' as I passed my garden shed. Looked in the huge tussock, and there was a younger chicken, laying an egg. Gave her a minute, and carried her back to her paddock.

On my way home from work, I saw my 15yo niece with her head in one of my shrubs, .... in the air. I of course whacked it, and out she popped with a hacksaw I sort of apologized, warned her to watch out for chickens, and let her go back to trimming my shrubs
