I peeked in for a minute. Hi to all. Hope everyone is well. I have no shiny to show unless you want to count the hundreds of dollars I have spent on sterling and gemstones, minerals. Have to do something to keep myself busy so making jewelry for everyone for every occasion coming up. Something for stepmom for Mothers Day, something for BFF's for birthdays. Push present for my grandson to give his girl, on and on..
Good day to all!

That's your answer then you need to up the percentage to get a decent flavour coming through.

No no no, dear. Subjective means personal preference.

Taste is subjective. I may like chocolate and peanut butter, and perhaps you don’t.

I use about 10% total flavor. Some like less, some like more. If your juice tastes weak, use a little higher percentage. Trial and error will get you there.

And yes, some use a different wicking technique for testing flavors. I don’t. I wick as usual. There’s no law says you gotta do it one way or the other.

i guess i've got philosphical reservations on the entire use of the notion of subjectivity. but okay...

now i get why the elr calculator has a separate total for the flavour.. cok tesukkurler!

Got to say a thank you to all you guys in the States & Canada. Everything you guys have trouble getting - so do we downunder, but usually a week or so later.

I stocked up on 2L of VG from a NZ supplier, as soon as it started to go up in price for you guys, 2 weeks ago.
I saw this in an email from MFS today:

So again, thank you Shiny ppl

any kiwi DIYers, here's an essential store available:
    Glycerine – Zen Designs
Same here Ange. I read about potential shortages/price hikes of pg and vg about 3 weeks ago on in the stocking up thread. They were talking about non vapers buying up supplies for diy hand sanitizer. I bought a couple of litres of each locally before it ran out. Glad now

Edit: just checked the same retailer and their price for a litre of vg went from $14.95 three weeks ago to $21.95 today. Bought an extra litre anyway.

Good morning shiners! Sorry to be MIA for some time, but things have been less than pleasant around here. Both my daughter an myself have been dealing with some losses here. My daughter is finally doing better and will hopefully be better by the wend of the weekend. It really took a a lot out of her. Yesterday she found out that her company was doing furloughs in their overseas offices. The hope they can get one of those small business loans from the stimulus package, if not then furloughs here as well.

Probably the worst is a sorta friend daughter who graduated with my daughter this past February died. She was perfectly healthy so it was a real shock to her. I had a friend who lived in my building die on Tuesday. So not the best here, but hopefully we're close to the peak. Folks will still get sick, ad some die, but not at the rate we've had to date.

So no shiny on my end, but I still need to stock up on some more juice and expendables like coils for my pods.Maybe there will be some sales for Easter.

Don't know if anyone is interested, or already knows about this, but there is a limited supply of the
SXK BILLET BOX V4 STYLE DNA 60 WITH USB PORT here. :)
That’s where mine is coming from. So far, delightful people to deal with! It’s wending it’s way here, should have it Monday
Don’t to forget to change currency to USD (if you’re in the States). You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Almost the same price as from China!

children_ my squonk bottle is feeling bloated, err.. like there's air stuck in there_ what's this?
Probably is air. If you turn the mod upside down, and give it a gentle quick press, it should let out a little puff of air and normalise it.

Is there a blockage - feeling resistance ? Possibly a little bit of cotton blocking the atty's squonk pin. Take the rda off and blow through it from underneath or poke a piece of wire through to clean.

I don't think you do. We all have different taste buds, and how we describe flavors, or taste them in a vape. I read this guy's blog post years ago and it sunk in, for me. The 'nugget' was that each flavor has a working range for each of us. From 1 or 2 drops for one full flavor, up to say 14% for another flavor. IMHO throw away all your preconceptions.
