Good morning shiners! I seem to be several hundred posts behind, so likes and loves to all. Things here are moving along. My daughter is continuing to improve, but this really knocked her back the last 3 weeks. This virus is so unpredictable. Some asymptomatic (about 25-50% of people), some mildly ill, then more moderate cases that don't feel moderate, and of course those critically ill and fighting on ventilators.

I think it'll be mid May before things will let up enough here to begin restoring normal life. What's worrying is there will still be cases through the summer, with a recurrence in the fall. Maybe by then we'll have some treatments that do work against this virus, so it won't be nearly so bad.

I haven't done anything on shiny these past weeks. I've been lucky that my money coming in is stable, but have no idea when that may change. I've bought so much stuff that it's not like I need to, and right now, I'd rather hold off spending in case I need what I have.

I am filling up on some more juice. Not a ton of sales that I've found appealing, but still going to get more juice just because.

Yeah mate i'm cautiously optimistic that some might sneak through....but they open most all my liquid I get abroad, so that says to me they do their job way to well. On the other hand with the borders closed and deliveries not done, the mountain of imports is getting higher at the customs warehouse. When things return to normal they might miss some stuff...will see.
The taxes and duties are horrendous here in NZ. The one ounce pouches will cost me in order of $70..that's apart from the $35 (shipping included) I paid already. Some pouches are 2 ounce so that effectively doubles the above price.

Hope it goes well.

    That's ... alot of flavors.

I have one or two recipes with that many flavors. What drives me batty is some of the flavors I use for other mixes, so it's always one of those I hope I have enough of each. Invariably one is empty and yet to be replaced.

    virm, I take it those numbers in black are %? I only have 3 of those. So for my taste, using them singularly;
Cactus @ 4% would completely overwhelm my taste buds freshly mixed. It would remind me of my Aloe vera gel hand sanitizer.
Cardamom, I'd need it higher for the taste I like
Fuji Apple a touch more after a shake. IRL I like a super tart green apple called a Russet Apple which is hard to find and picked after the first frost in Canada

So after a good long steep, that Fuji would disappear to sweet and that cactus would tone down. No idea about the others. YMMV, and good luck. Your subjective taste could be completely different,

It always intrigues me how people can up and move countries. I was trying to move 4 states away and that was hard enough! I would love to see NZ someday though. Looks so beautiful!
I figured it had to do with a partner. As I read further it was so. The only way would be to go with someone from there or knowing someone there enough to make your life about that

Finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel...thanks Mel. My white blood cell have finally started to climb significantly so my body can start to fight its own battles again...fingers crossed and touch wood :D

One of the worst things is the nerve damage in my feet which is so slow to improve that it's beginning to feel like it'll stay that way forever....that chemo is nasty stuff for sure....

Good news is the docs are pretty sure that the cancer has been banished for good....hoorah :)

Hope that you and family are staying nice and safe and that you're getting some pleasure from the blue doors
Charlie this is such good news except for the burning feet. I take Cymbalta for that and it helps. I have nerve damage in my feet too and they feel like they are on fire without any meds

As a new mixer I would advise keeping your mixes simple using just 2-4 flavors. Complex mixes need a bit of finesse and familiarity with your flavors usually.
