Oh, and I can't remember - is this the thread where everyone was talking about toilet paper? Actually, I think they all are.

So I'm the idiot who thought the tp craze would be over by now. Wife goes to Costco about once a month, so we were pretty set when all this set in. Now, she told me she was getting worried about the supply, and placed an order on Amazon, but it wasn't scheduled for delivery until June. She's starting to do some panicing (panicking?) of her own, and has me running around the house with her, checking closets, guest rooms, kid's rooms, etc. doing an inventory. We've been doing Kroger delivery for a month, and they've had pretty much everything else, but of course not tp today.

So I decide to look online 10 minutes ago, and found some on Amazon that's supposed to deliver on 4/21, so that's okay. We're good for probably 2-3 weeks. Or maybe 5 years, if my wife wasn't using it.

But I see this in the 2nd row of results. Who'da thought- in what world would someone think to use that name? World Backyard? And what, exactly, is a Professional .... Wiper? One who wipes the butts of professionals, or one who wipes his own but professionally? Am I even qualified to buy this?

Actually, the great toilet paper shortage is less about hoarding and more in the giant shift in toilet paper usage.

See, when people are at work they use work toilet paper, usually that stuff on the great big rolls that we all hate.

And now that everyone in the country is at home, they are using an unusual amount of home-style toilet paper.

Since there are only so many factories that make home-style toilet paper, and only so many machines which make them, supply is unable to adequately meet the (sudden) new demand, and there simply isn't enough toilet paper making machinery... factories could spend millions on more equipment, but they wont need it in a year, so there is that.

Therefore the companies who make home style toilet paper are working overtime, and the factories are running 24/7 non-stop in order to keep up with demand.

But apparently so long as people stay home instead of going to work, it will be in shorter supply... and thus a little more difficult to come by...

There wouldn't be a shortage if so many people weren't so full of crap! LMAO!

goodbye
Glad I got a peek before you did.;)

It's ok to post a pic of yourself here. Heck, I even posted one of me in my jammies a short while back, since it seems to be the attire of preference while in exile. We be family here. Most of you, I'd like to meet in real life. Don't know about Wormy, but I'd probably make an exception.

See! Still Painless. We are who we are. I am a very social person, and if I'm not afraid to show others myself in real life, why should I be afraid to show you myself here?

I don't post my face online, but I'll post almost anything else :) My mods are much more photogenic then I am.

Why? I'm pretty sure you look no different in real life when you meet people than you would meeting us here? I'd love to meet you and have a vape with ya Blitzd. You're a great person, and I'd be happy and honored to have you for a friend.
