If you have your atty screwed down firmly enough, tighten the 510 pin and don't squonk too hard you shouldn't have much if any juice between point blank and topside. Tightening the 510/squonk pin is really important for conductivity too. You'll get a better vape all round

tighten it on the bottom of the atty you mean (done that) or the pin on the mod itself?

    Happens.
Squonkers rely on the 510 threads to keep the juice from escaping. I will have a small amount under my rdas after a good bit of use. The threads were not intended to control juice flow, just electrical contact. And to be honest not all 510 have a tight fit to prevent juice escaping.

Secondarily how much pressure you put on the bottle can cause this too. Pressing hard will try to force more juice thru than the squonk pin can handle. This can cause what you describe as well as potential internal leakage. Light pressure for a little longer can make a difference.

If it bothers you, you can install an oring on the 510. It will seal the rda and stop the seepage. However the rda will sit noticeably off of the mod.

I chose to pull off my rda after 15-20ml and dry it as sitting flush was more important to me.

    Hope this helps.

    very berry informstive thank you

A wonderful good morning to each One of You ...or namaste... as-salāmu alaykum @virm :D

Soooo, Cat woke us B4 sunrise ... cool. What to do when it is so early? I always have ideas... roadtrip!!! We went down to a very secluded spot along Lake Michigan, spread a blanket, had fruit, OJ and coffee for breakfast, threw the ball for Dog and then we sat and watched the Sunrise over the lake. Simply gorgeous!!! So peaceful. Beach solitude in the beauty of Nature!!! Ha...

    goodbye
    good morning2.gif
Shinyville! Hoping everyone is happy, safe, and well on this beautiful Sunday morning. Mostly sunny and 70° F on the weather radar today. This is weather I could enjoy all year round here in Cackalacky.

On to today's family pics. These are some of my favorites for the peace and serenity of the beach with the sound of the wind blowing, and the waves rolling in. Florida in December is beautiful. Not too hot. Not too cold. Just right. (said Goldilocks) These pics are of my two favorite people in the whole world, and were taken Dec. 2009 at Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island, FL.

Well, siting around with not a lot to do, I ordered another 400 ml of juice I don't need, and took advantage of that AVS Spring 35% off sale. After ordering I took a look and realize I already have about 10 years worth of their wire. Then there's the 6-700 ft of Temco spools I have laying around. I really think I'm overstocked on wire.

I couldn't resist the 35% off either; I'm lazy and ordered more prebuilt and couple bags of kendo gold. Had forgotten I like that wick until Ange mentioned it.

I was having some trouble with leaks from the 510 on my Woodvil. I had some 1/32" silicone sheet lying around from fixing coffee makers. I cut a washer from that the same size as the spacers you buy for tanks. I never got around to getting o-rings for the 510, the silicone washer does the job and it's kind of invisible too. Seems to make the gap disappear.

Not the mod itself. I meant the 510/squonk pin on the atty - nice and tight. You shouldn't have to be too gentle with the squonking either.
Have you tried a different rda on the topside?

Good morning SMT. Love the tunes. I left you some tunes in our pm that I hope you like. Don't know if you've listened to Beth Hart, but she is another favorite of mine. I love it when she gets together with Joe Bonamassa who is one of my all time favorite guitarists in the world.

Beth Hart, yep going back to '96. I love her solo stuff from the early days. She's been through the ringer and back and turned out an Angel. She's a beautiful Soul and similar life story to what @chanelvaps has bravely shared here. Also reminds me of another very strong Lady I know here and I will not tag her <you know, I know> (thank you for your kindness). Here's one for ya, haha... I just couldn't resist!!! :p

Big time props to both of you Ladies. You inspire, as do many others. #strongwomenrock

And yes Rob, I love Joe Bonamassa too.

This vsn of 'Leave The Light On' is a fav for a few reasons, it's from '06 if I recall. Enjoy...

You know the wick I'm really enjoying lately? That Fuzion cotton that I picked up from I think Armageddon mods when I bought those squonkers.

Man that's some nice cotton. It's almost like a cross between rayon and cotton, it's really absorbent like rayon, but really flavorful like good cotton wick, the end result is it's the most flavorful wick I've yet to experience..

Very nice... Florida Vape Supply doesn't have it anymore after that $3.00 sale, but very nice cotton for real.

Yep, I know Beth's story and am so very glad that she came through it all. Would have been a huge loss to the world otherwise. I have all of her and Joe's work, along with all their collaborations. They are two of my favorite artists from what is probably my favorite genre. I left some of their work in our pm, along with a response to your last response. Looking very forward to continuing our chat. Have a good day SMT.
