I wish... ;) The orion's are all my pay grade affords.

You play in the headphone/IEM game? :w00t:
Just looked up the orion's. Those are nice.

I have some older Westone IEM's for playing live. Several AKG and Sony headphones in my studio. I use some old v-moda IEM's for listening to tunes via the iPod (now SSD, all lossless). I bought a bunch of the v-moda's dirt cheap on clearance some years back.

Nice!
I'm not really a fan of single BA IEMs like the Orion or a few others I have. They are fast and quite detailed but missing the meat of the music IMHO, I do like a little bass in the mix. There are quite a few $50-$100 ChiFi multi BA + dynamic driver IEMs on the market today that are supposedly very good, but I'm more of a headphone guy.

You can't beat AKG and Sony for tried and true quality sound, I heard the AKG 7XX for the first time recently and was quite impressed with them off of a Monoprice THX AAA DAC/AMP combo. I run a pair of neutral open back beyedynamic's off the tube amp when home. Fostex T50RP planars or German Maestro's when out and about, I keep the Orion's to plug into my Nintendo Switch for private gaming. ;)

The FiiO X3 (1st Gen) or Colorfly C3 are my go to DAPs for portable all FLAC.

Very nice setup!!!

Most of my hard earned has been sunk into musical instruments. Part of the studio setup...
IMG_0004cr.jpg

All connected via MIDI + audio via Apple's Mainstage and several DAW's (Pro Tools, Logic, Digital Performer and Ableton). Tenor sax below and a few gallons of VG/PG. MIDI extends to these EMU and Kurzweil kybd's...
IMG_0010cr.jpg

And connected to the 88 key Kurzweil and small O2 kybd...
IMG_0008cr.jpg

Also have a MIDI run going to an Akai EWI and Yamaha WX7 for wind synthesis. I have a pretty large collection of samples/sounds.

That is only a small part of it. Some gear is in storage and some at a friends studio.

It all makes for passing time in lockdown much easier. :D

well one of you two please tell me the best reasonable priced over the ear buds I can get. Only use them for walking my dog, rocking to the Chile Peppers but I would like them to sound good. My apple ear buds will not stay in my ears and I currently have a pair of chintzy Fishers that I bought somewhere for less then $40.

    Morning shinies ;)

Thank you :). I have been looking around and will keep at it. I’m sure another deal will come up eventually :D

Still finding my footing regarding what vaping set up suit me/work for me, not there yet but always learning. Will like to eventually get into doing my own coils and using rtas or rdas. Tired of been still a dual user :(

I was lucky enough to quit smoking with my first setup, but not everybody does. And what works for one person, may not work for another - that's the beauty of vaping, we all like different things. Just keep trying things out until you find your ideal setup

I'll send you a never used NIB pair of the v-moda's. For the spool tamers you made me. :)
I have several backups. PM coming...

    The venerable CoV MiniVolt.

A 40W mod with an internal 1300 mAh cell, decent battery life when you run it with a 0.8Ω ohm build and 15-20W. It has soft, normal and powerful as its only features. :D

With the GEM RTA, which was such a great MTL RTA, I do miss it.

Of course! I was tossing up between the minivolt and a pico 75 in earlier days but went the pico route. Assuming you've had it a few years your battery has lasted well.

For me I hope is third time lucky :) and I can finally quit. Reading and interacting with this lovely community has made me more determine to find what will work for me. I need to keep at it until I do. I already have a few ideas to minimise the problems I usually face now and back then (last two times I tried before) like Nic salts.

I have also been playing with the idea of a pod system to add to my current set up, which I could use for RDL (just because I don't cough much with this inhale method) and MTL just in case  (with Nic salt) for work, has to be pocket friendly with enough af and use drop in coils. Was thinking of the new geekvape small pod system but if anyone has some suggestion, it will be greatly appreciated it

Haha, it IS very old. Quite of few of the effects on the Quadra are priceless. Bought it when it came out in the 80's sometime (so 30+ yrs old). Mine gets loaned out a bit.

My favorite reverbs and delays come by the way of Lexicon's and Yamaha's. I have an Eventide H9 Max on my guitar board with a Lehle switch for rerouting it to the keys. MIDI pgm control via Mainstage or a DAW makes switching presets easy. I love it!

Pigs, do you play? Sound reinforcement? I seem to recall something... gig related.

The Geekvape boost AIO is a solid "pod" system. You won't make I mistake in getting that.
This is also a very good one. I've been using mine daily for about 6 mnths now without problems.
