I do a lot of grateful kisses on the cheek at the end so grateful kisses everyone :)

    Good morning shinies

May your day be warm and sunny!!

Still waiting for my wire. It sat in Hong Kong for about a month and then suddenly arrived in France. Now it appears to be sitting in France :D

It'll be nice when it comes :)

    Welcome back Virmy

You may prefer the .blank as it is a top airflow type of rda - so more similar to your Elevate RTA.

I run my Axial with a tiny 2.5mm or 3.0mm id coil. The pics below are of the 2.5mm id, 5 wrap 0.5mm x 0.2mm flat wire coil.

    Wicking:

    Coil Height:

This is what works for the way I vape. I'm not doing big RDL inhales, I'm doing MTL inhales, with those 3 airflow holes all open.

I figured the right height for me was 5.5mm legs. Once I had a coil installed, I slapped the cap on, opened it up to the full cyclops airflow, and using a thin metal skewer I poked it in the airflow hole to figure out where air would hit my coil. I wanted it to hit just a tad below the coil and most of it to hit the bottom area of the coil. With my teeny coil, 5.5mm legs worked. With my 3mm id coil, 6mm legs work.

Try a 3mm id coil, with 6mm legs and see how you go. Also, if you want to keep it at 3 holes open, try a more restricted drip tip.
I like the way you figured out where your airflow hit the coil, you put some thought into that.

well i do now have two axials in case i decide to test it. just don't want to change batteries all the time. plus i'm not one for too much air. but yea, i do have the option..

    hmm..

it's alright, but not like blank is all. plus theyre both not as 'spongy' (grimm green uses the term, i think he means what i always liked abt elevate and now blank, something about the traveling AF gives the vape a thickness).
it's the lopsided thing too, when i shift to 2 holes, which is better for me. leave which side with the two, the wick side or the clear one?
shifting to axial (from reload) now, fast starts in a bit.
do up a pic of it wicked when yous get a chance will ya? (goes for all yous here_ i know you got'em, now line em up!)
If you want thicker vapor at the same wattage (and you are using a regulated mod) I would suggest to build with a thicker gauge wire and more wraps. Coil resistance doesn't matter as much on regulated devices. I usually build at .35-.4 on regulated mods bit .16-.25 on mechanicals . Surface area is your friend. I can get surprisingly good performance from 35-40W. Find a nice flat wide wire and do an extra wrap or 2. Not sure what kind of wire you are using, but just be careful not to get too massive or it will take a long time to ramp up.
The Axial was designed to be a dual coil RDA. You may like it better as a dual. I like it better single but that doesn't mean you will.
With the drop in coil RDAs (Axial, Drop Yup, DR) I find that if I pull the coil up tight with the jig after I tighten the screws, it almost always puts the coil in the perfect place as far as AF goes.

The 2 hole airlflow can be kind of centred on the coil.
I use just enough wick to touch the bottom of the well. Some use more but you wouldn't want to get wick between af holes and coil. Some perps split the wick evenly both sides of the posts.

And listen to Uncle Fred when he says listen to Uncle Pigsy.

Good morning shiners! A busy delivery day today. I have an SQ arriving from Signature Tips. Their Fedex Priority option is pretty good. Ordered on 5/6, and in the US 5/7 with a delivery date of today by 10:30 AM. That's faster than most US vendors. The rest are some more juice, and a non-shiny order from Amazon for some socks and sweatpants. Photos to come along with the Topside I got the day before.

Ok what is with the Vaporesso NRG coils? I found a good deal on them and bought 10 packs. Says they are interchangeable with the Cerberus tank. I have changed coils 3 times and keep getting burnt hits. Anybody know?
drop one over night in juice or vg/pg.start to use way lower than normal.or do you mean it will not keep up and will need thinner juice?

I prime it and let it sit for 4+ hours. It vapes fine for a day or two and then I start to get burnt hits from it. I have three things in rotation so I do not vape on it constantly. I should be getting more then 24 hours from a coil. No lose of vapor either, just a burnt taste. It is .15 and I am vaping it around 60 watts

I haven’t used those coils in months... I never ran them that high though. I’d have to look and see what ohms mine are, I can’t remember.

as Delores pointed to use lower watts or thinner juice, might be able to loosen wicking material or increase air flow. because it sounds like it will not keep up.
