I usually only have 3 or 4 mods in daily rotation and put the others away in their boxes til they jump out again.
My daily vapes - just power them down. I never go more than 4 hours without a vape (wee small hours etc) so I never feel worried about safety. One exception- the hippo gets his battery removed at bedtime.
Apart from that my only routine safety precaution is I don't charge batteries when I'm out of the house.

well I’ve heard people talk about the hippo not sure what mod it is but I’m just glad there haven’t been any “events” phew!! Thanks for reassuring me. I had a venting situation of my 1st Vape pen as I said and it was VERY scary. The house can be replaced but my much loved pets would put me over the top!! That was caused by a leaking tank so it really was user error but scary either way!!

I'm the wrong person to talk about an RDA only fitting a 510 DT as I only use 510 dt's. But you can get 510 drip tips with a lot larger bore and nearly as wide as an 810, if you don't like what it comes with. This one on my axial is a 510, but the size of an 810:

It's way too big for my preferences, so that means it would be right up your alley

The MTL default AF is 1.2mm. I bought the 1.5, 2 and 2.5mm AF inserts.

This one at FT has solid reviews, includes the AF inserts and includes the 5ml, 3.5ml and 2ml tank sections. It also has the updated chimney section with oval slots for juice flow.

It's the very very cute hippovape kudos bf mod. But both @Pigs and @Fredman1 had one that bloody well crapped out (downunder scientific terminology)
