Oh, doubt yall were concerned lol.
I did receive this from HMM in regards to my order.

    ******
We had a colossal amount of orders come in over Memorial Day Weekend. All of us here at Half Moon mods were blown away by the outpouring of support for our products. We completely ran through our stock on some items and therefore some orders are being held up while we make tips to complete them. Normally, this would take no more than 24 hours but with the volume of orders it is taking a bit longer. I expect that all orders will be completed and shipped by the end of the week.

    *****

I am ok with this as i understand, seems like they wouldnt have waited over a week to tell everyone but it is what it is.

as your impatient partner-in-crime I feel your pain

first time I've ever gotten happy and excited over an order reaching the packaging stage

Fantastic. Reading this just made my day. Acts like these should be shouted from the mountain tops
Yes I'm shouting.... actually Delores is known for this kind of thing. I'm waiting for a delivery and then all will be revealed.

She's got a good heart she has

    Minor victory:

My DOA Vinci X has been sitting in it's box mocking me as I've waited patiently (?) for the replacement on the slow slow boat from Covid FT.
Anyway today I thought why not take it apart and see if I could fix the short...nothing to lose.
Tiny screws removed, chassis disassembled, face plate sticker un-stuck...fiddled a bit, re-assembled and hallelujah. She works.!!!

I have a non shiny related question, or maybe it is kind of a shiny question.

But concerning the riots, how do we know about ordering online? With all the looting is it safe to order online?

I was wanting to make an online purchase from a New York based store, but I'm a bit worried about it. They say on their website to give them 2-4 weeks to fill orders due to the coronavirus but I'm not sure it's anything to do with that... they are normally quick to fill orders.

Basically, how are you all dealing with online ordering right now?Should we wait?

    Just a hello.
So my A1C happened to come in at 11.1, which is a tad high. This has led to more issues than a magazine stand.

Pain is finally managed. I can walk and work without wanting to harm people. Well, less of a desire to harm people.

In begining of managing diet, which everything I can eat sucks. Really, it sucks.

Insulin and getting numbers where I need them is proving to be a challenge. No matter the diet or exercise I am above 200 while awake, just barely below when fasting. So my frustrations are many. Soon I'm sure I will get to poke myself with fast acting.

Over all, I'm miserably fine. That is I'm better than I was and not as good as I could be. Little to no feeling from knees down and without meds excruciating pain in thighs. So I take my meds.

I've popped in from time to time but have little energy to post and really don't have much to say. I'm honestly only giving an update cause I feel someone may care and my name is at the beginning of this thread.

    Stay safe.

    Hi Opinionated hope you're well?

I'm not in the US but what I would do is pick up the phone and try and get to speak to someone. See if you can get them to explain the delay.

This way I think it'll give you some peace of mind. I can't see that there's going to be a problem :)

    Hope this helps ❤️

this would never happen this way for me.
More like tiny screws lost, chassis broke while trying to disassemble, face plate sticker got ripped apart, cussed a bit, threw in trash can, ordered a new one.

Hehe. Why do you think I boasted about it? Rare as hen's teeth.
What I didn't mention was that for the first hour it buzzed like an electric shaver when I hit the fire button

I feel fortunate as hell to be able to be a part of it. My ex-sil is still family as well as a dear friend, and she’d do anything for ya.

My brothers and nephews are all in, too, couldn’t have done this without them.

When the idea popped into my head, I ran it past everyone and they were all excited to be a part of it.

My nephews gave her a good clean and wash, my brothers took her in for new tires, all the guys checked everything over and were ready to fix anything that needed it. My eldest brother will be driving her down to her new home.

This was a group effort. I think we all needed a little something to lift the spirits.

Here she is, ready to roll.
