No. This is not a little fat balding guy (wearing shiny black armor) with a handle bar mo raising his hands in the air saying "Welcome to my home!"
Hey there Col. Full moon coming up in a few days. Getting thirsty?morning all.
what have i missed?
If you get the Merlin mini bubble glass it isn't bad at all. On one end of the tube the lip is slightly shorter, you always want to attach the short end to the base. Fill port is not as big as say an OBS tank so with thicker liquid you have to go a bit slower. Some get all bent over the air bubble left but that is a good thing. If you overfill the deck/af floods. Unless there has been another run the 1:1 clones are gone but the cheaper one works; fill port ring is just loose.I've been looking through Shawn's amazing top air RTA thread, and a clone Juggerknot mini rta is at the top of my list.
Those that have it, including @Letitia what is it like to fill?
we have def missed you! Glad to see you~morning all.

Honeycomb af is a treat, much smoother and usually much quieter.Yes Ma'am. Some time ago, when it was released. The name Hellvape gave me a pause, but I watched some videos anyway (Todd's, Vic's). I have no idea what to make of those sieve/honeycomb-slot combos. I'm only familiar with plain old round single AF holes under the coil and I know that my sweet spot is somewhere between 1.8 and 2.5mm. So that was that. I always thought that, since my pathetic (~1Ω, 2.5mm ID, single wire) coils (and all the other coils, for that matter) heat up from the center outwards, the blast of air directed at the center of said coils makes perfect sense. That design, BTW, also stopped me from getting Ares 1--way back.
Now everybody is making turntables with slots and sieves. What do you guys think about that design? What's the advantage (if any) over the regular round holes?
Dual air? I know about dual coils, and top, bottom and side airflow. What's dual air?
I finally got caught up. Thread is awesome, like old times.
I am still silly happy about my new vape gear. I have not bought any for a long time because I am saving for something else.
Anyway, please help an old confused person.
I want my Drag S RBA built. I installed (OMG so tiny) the coil that came with it but it is .50 and I want .30. Can I buy these pre-made anywhere? Pleez a link if anyone is so inclined. I have all this wire and used to rebuild the mini protank coils so I know the concept BUT arthritis in hands and site makes me not what I was 5-6 years ago.
Great morning coffee wake up session I had with you all.![]()
what gauge wire are you using?I bought some tiny coils from
Fasttech but they’re all 1.5 or there abouts. I imagine they have some lower. I think I got them for the artery nugget rba, but I can’t remember what I got the nugget for (fireluke?)
I haven’t tried them yet. I’ve been making wee coils for the bb and dotaio
The Hellvape MD puts out great flavor and the little airflow disk's which they give you 2 of work very well.Yes Ma'am. Some time ago, when it was released. Can't you just take a wrap or two off to get to 0.30Ω ??? That's what I would do.I want my Drag S RBA built. I installed (OMG so tiny) the coil that came with it but it is .50 and I want .30.
Noticed that too. Nice.Thread is awesome, like old times.
Right back at ya!Great morning coffee wake up session I had with you all.
Priceless.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say the other day, that spot for camping looks awesome. Hope ya all have a great time.![]()
Hey is that the gunmetal or stainless steel version of the MD? I am planning on grabbing one of those. The Hellvape MD puts out great flavor and the little airflow disk's which they give you 2 of work very well.

It is the Gunmetal version.Hey is that the gunmetal or stainless steel version of the MD? I am planning on grabbing one of those.
Thanks! I've read that is pretty easy to build on, which is beneficial to me as a new RTA user. Do you find it pretty easy to work with?It is the Gunmetal version.
I think those designs are, Meh. Give me the tried and true single round hole. Works fantastic w/the KFL and several others. I find wiz bang thingamabobs in an atty of little use. I already have a turntable, for LP's. Sieve, in kitchen drawer. Don't need them in my RTA's. It's tough to beat the tried and true warhorses. Giddy-up!!!Now everybody is making turntables with slots and sieves. What do you guys think about that design? What's the advantage (if any) over the regular round holes?
Exactly. Honestly there are only so many ways to design an RTA deck. IMO it's all marketing smoke/mirrors with turntables with slots and sieves. Look under those and I'll bet you still have a single round hole. Still going to give you a circular AF to the center of the coil.I always thought that, since my coils (and all the other coils, for that matter) heat up from the center outwards, the blast of air directed at the center of said coils makes perfect sense.
