Good morning shinies

I got the dot rba but was seriously disappointed with the draw...far to restricted so waited until my dotshell came through.:)
I actually like the restricted draw on the dot rba a lot. I have it all the way open now with a low build. I have to agree I don't think it has enough AF for 35 watts. I think I will do a mtl coil next and use it for salts though. I think It would be better suited for that.

As far as I'm concerned flavour is due to chimney/chamber size and to a certain extent how long that vapour hangs around in said chamber @Fredman1

That's why some people think it's MTL and some DL. I think that the strongest flavour I get is from a mixture of gear but if you add throat hit to the mix then MTL wind hands down :)

WOW first time someone says that...that I know of. Just shows how incredibly subjective vaping is. Everyone has their own experience...;)
I was VERY anti DL when I started. Didn't want to know or listen anything about it. I had a tough time the first two years. No flavor worked for me...Nothing :w00t:
Then I started tobacco DIYing and that went even more south. I couldn't get anything taste the way I could even like it a little bit...well here and there I made something tolerable. My biggest problem was I couldn't properly taste the flavors.
I bought a little Derringer rda to taste my mixes. When I built, juiced and took the first vape from that little thing it was like a whole new world opened up for me. I went back and tasted all the flavors I didn't like in the MTL setup...suddenly I liked most all of them. That little bit of more air changed everything for me.
Imagine my confusion...forced to be moving into DL when i'm surrounded by hordes of MTL devices....

The Derringer was a great little flavor atty for it's time. I recently started using my Gas Mods Nova again and it blew me away how much more flavor I was getting. Small RDAs sre my favorite.

Exactly mate. Incredible how flavor pops in a small RDA...These two are tops of the pops for me...Reaper and Origen little.
Little miracles.

I'm the other way round. Did MTL the first few years then went to DL... I became a flavor junky. You need air for that.
Just tested it on MTL and it has from the tightest to a loose setting. Think you'll like it.

It's funny, I actually think I get better flavor from MTL style vaping.

Just shows how incredibly subjective vaping is.

I used to have a shoebox full of random eliquids labeled "taste is subjective."

I had do dilute every commercial juice, even those I liked, with PG/VG to be able to vape it. That's how I discovered that I really like unflavored or barely-there flavorings. After years of searching for a good tobacco flavor I realized that, to my tastebuds, unflavored tastes very much like an ultra light cigarette. ;)

Yup, taste is subjective. Vaping is subjective. Loose draw, MTL, RL, LD--all subjective.

:offtopic:just so great I had to share on both threads.

@Letitia this is one of my favourite books on bird behaviour. If you're seriously interested in bird intelligence/behaviour this is worth reading. Sulfur crested cockatoos have a section

Those are cool! I had a Hobbit a while back (don't know what happened to it). It was 18mm awesome flavor.. Kinda want to find it again...
