I might wait. Or since its 20 bucks, I might just go ahead and buy it. I also saw this
$11.90 SXK Doggystyle 2K18 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml / 316 stainless steel + PC / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping. I've have read that these are well liked too. But not sure about the difference between these RTAs and Dvarw RTAs.

I'd get that 3 tank, 11 insert FL Dvarw mainly for all those parts at that price. If you like it, then pay more for an SXK or an authentic (if you can get one)

The 2k18 Doggy is a top-fill flavour banger that is trouble-free. Low profile and fantastic flavour

I don't have this one--I have the SJMY. Bought it years ago and don't use it much because it's so tiny--I like 2.5mm coils and they barely fit. Those work better with 2 mm coils, AFAIK.

Can't help you, but it looks good and quite different from the original Animodz. And there's also a newer version called the ....... let's try again--B-a-s-ta-r-d. ;)

Why do I read this thread? ;)

Oy, Charlie. Talk to me about the DL version. I like that 2.5mm reducer,; can one MTL with the big Dvarw? (@AngeNZ --I know you can  ). The new Dvarw FL MTL is back in my FT cart. :D

Since I've gotten so damn airy I've been paying a lot of attention to the chimney id of my RTAs. Some RTAs like the legendary Hastur I find too tight now, and that is purely because a) I'm weird and b) it has a small chimney id.

The MTL dvarw has a 4.5mm chimney id. Now you just need to get someone with a DL dvarw to measure their chimney id's ;) I'm guessing the DL version, especially the newer FL will give you your perfect draw

Does it take 2.5mm coils? Relaxed MTL? What's the diameter of the airflow hole under the coil, if you happen to know. I didn't get the first SXK clone because the draw was too tight for me. SJMY version has a 2.3 mm D hole, which is my sweet spot.

Yes they fit. SXK's 2k16 deck was a tad larger than SJMY's so they fitted in that deck too. It has a 2.5mm id airflow hole

and the Bastad also has a 2.5mm id hole. The reviews on that are all positive:

I guess I will add both to the cart then. Thanks!

Just bear in mind that those doggies do not offer any airflow adjustments under the coil--you either like the draw or you don't. If you're still searching for that sweet spot or just want to be able to adjust your airflow, I believe that Dvarw is a better option.

Yeah think I will just grab both of them. I mean the doggystyle one is only about 10 bucks or so. I noticed the 2016 doggystyle has over 400 reviews while the 2018 only has about 25 or so. So I wonder if the 2016 is a better version.

Sorry, can't help. I don't use my doggies (older ones) any more and never got the new and improved versions. Grab both if you're curious.

The 2k16 is bulletproof. Never leaks, and you can toss a crappy wick into it, and it still. vapes amazing. But I'd pick this more recent version of the Doggy RTA over the 2k18:

It's been redesigned so that it doesn't need JFC, and the reviews on it are all positive

I like the sound of this. Thanks!

Unless you're in the market for "proper" MTL (.5 or .8 mm, think gnat, to 1.6 mm, milkshake through straw :D), which I thought you were; 2.5mm airflow hole is generally considered as (very?) loose MTL (at best) or even RDL. Read the discussions and comments, watch YouTube reviews.

I don't mean to dissuade, persuade, or otherwise influence your decisions, just sharing what I know (at least on paper, since I don't own that Batard.) ;)

I'm not really super picky on airflow. I just know I much more prefer MTL than blowing huge clouds. I've been using the Zlide recently and have enjoyed both the 1.6 and .8 coils with different airflow settings. I just want something reliable that is not too complicated to build on to have in my stash.
